My kid went here and the lunch was bad she said it taste like plastic and the classes are horrible the dean of discipline blames my girl for everything. The children rule the school NEEDS MORE STAFF.

If you are a parent of a child with disability looking into this school. Dont bring your child here. There uneducated on children with disabilities. They ‘ll use the proper words to convince you aswell. There so good at it they had me believing that my son was progressing all these years until we asked to sit in there classroom to observe. Let me tell you this principle is incompetent, uneducated and wayyyyy over his head when it comes with children with disabilities. He is more worried about bringing his dog to work. Where is the accountability where is the professionalism.This school segregates all children with disabilities from the other kids so they wont have to deal with them. Once i withdrew the IEP with one month left in school. They want to kick my son out! Can you believe it five years invested in this school like nothing, he just said figure it out. These people are wrong deep down in there hearts God even knows your wrong. God only knows how this man really is.This school creates an environment of secrecy and distrust within the school. Dont believe him or any social worker here. Dont trust these people either. Question everything! Once you do they will start treating you different for asking! Mr ortiz thank you for being the utmost kind person in this building very helpful and very organized! Thank you mr lopez thank you ms reyes, and ms moreno for being my sons teachers. The teachers here deserve a leader at this school someone that goes above and beyond. Someone that doesn't do this for profit but with a passion

My kid attended Yates last year but I decided half way through the year I needed to transfer him. Although some of the staff is truly amazing, the administration is horrible at communication and Principal Perez comes off arrogant and dismissive. My experiences here were not what I was hoping for and unfortunately a lot of other parents I’ve spoken to feel the same about the administration. The kids run the school. The disrespect towards staff and their peers are at an all time high. That school lacks order and I believe it starts from the top! The assistant principal seems to do more for and with the kids. Maybe there should be a swapping of roles? Kids are out here getting bullied , beat up and nothing really happens as a consequence to those providing this behavior. It’s unfortunate because some of the teachers really do try to provide a great educational experience.
