I like the diversity of this school. Students come from different neighborhoods of the city and offer a well-rounded perspective in the classrooms. Students really enjoy being in school. Classes are fun and students get a chance to learn and enjoy each other's company. Most classes offer rigorous work that challenge the students to become critical thinkers. I really like how administration focuses on emotional learning of our children. Students have good days and bad days emotionally and I think the staff, as a whole, recognize this and deal with each situation individually. There are many after-school programs that offer a variety of opportunities for the children to become involved with outside of school hours. From academic support to recreational activities to competitive sports, there are so many programs for all of our children to become involved in. The only reason why I did not give this school 5 stars is because I think discipline can be held to a higher standard in the upper grades. I am pleased with our new administration. They seem to have a vision for the school and they really put the students first! Can't wait to see what they accomplish in their second year as Principal and Assistant Principal of our school.

I am so happy with my daughter's kindergarten education at Sabin. All of the kindergarten teachers were wonderful, as well as art, music, gym and library. The principal is great, and the office staff is so nice and helpful. The students are also really nice kids. And any bad behavior is taken care of properly and swiftly by the administration and security.

Cons- Sabin is a an average school. Is no longer a Magnet duo Language school. Kids graduate from Sabin not witting in cursive because cursive is not included in the teachers curriculum. Sad to say ! Sabin tends to hire very young teachers that just graduated. with little or no experience. Pros- Many after school activities for the kids and sports. The principal seems to keep it fun for the kids. My 17 year old attended this school from kinder through 8th grade and I currently have a sixth grader that loves the school and most of the teachers.

I like this school but the participation of parents is almost nothing. I think this school is going down because parents look like they do not care their kids.
