We are so grateful for the supportive teachers, staff and administration at Chapin Elementary. We couldn't ask for a better educational environment for our child. Thank you CES for all you do for our family!

When a problem arose with my youngest child, a first grader being bullied and physically assaulted by a fourth grader, I demanded to speak with the principal. As I had brought this to the attention previously to her staff, and was informed nothing could be done in regards to this, as it occurred mainly on the bus, I refused to speak with anyone else. Instead of taking a few minutes to briefly speak with me, she refused because a meeting was taking place. A meeting for school improvement, nothing more important than a student's safety, but I was wrong. I had to call the superintendents office to get her to take action. However, I was even more disappointed when she took no action other than stating to my husband that it was none of her concern. I am truly disappointed and saddened that a community and school.so great as Chapin is saddled with this woman as a principal. She has demonstrated that she cares more about her appearance and title than she does the actual job duties at hand. Very disappointing.With all that being said, my childrens teachers are absolutely amazing, and I couldn'task for more caring teachers for them. I just wish I could say the principal cared about the well being and safety of the children.

I had two children at this school. They received a quality education there and the staff and faculty were always kind and helpful. My only complaint is that they are very over-protective of the kids, bordering on paranoid. They have monkey bars that the kids aren't allowed on (for fear of someone falling). No touching at all ever so therefore no tag at recess. They used to have a ban on balls at recess also but I believe that has relaxed some. I just think they need to let the kids be kids more often but overall it is a good school.

We have two children at Chapin Elementary, and we absolutely love it!! The principal and asst. principal are completely involved in everything at the school. They honestly care about each and every single student. The teachers are the same way, they will go above and beyond. The programs the PTO have throughout the year are fabulous too. Most importantantly I am truly impressed and satisfied with the level of education my children are receiving and the extra thing the teachers are willing to do to help your child get to where they need to be.

I have two children at Chapin Elementary and we love it! The principal is so involved with the kids and the staff is always friendly. Most importantly, I've been impressed with the level of education my children are receiving. Go Eaglets!
