My kiddo has been going here since Preschool. He has had a positive experience with Soaring Hawk. In fact, we have hesitated to move out of the area because we love the school so much. It is a very positive, enriching environment for children. My child loves Soaring Hawk!

From the moment we enrolled our first child at Soaring Hawk, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sense of community at this school is truly remarkable. The staff, teachers, and fellow parents have created an environment that fosters collaboration and support, making it feel like an extended family. This strong sense of community has been a significant factor in our children's overall well-being and academic success.The heart of any school is its teaching staff. This school has done a lot over the years to keep delivering a great student experience. They genuinely care for the students and extended family members; I was always greeted with a warm reception anytime coming up to the school. The teachers do so much to make the classrooms warm and adapt to kids with special needs. Any time there were situations for our student, the leadership was fair responsive and addressed our concerns and brought fair resolutions. This is a great school community!

My youngest son has dyslexia and ADD. We hired an advocate to try to pbtain a more meaningful IEP for him. Instead they took his IEP away. I asked for tutors which I was willing to pay for. They were unresponsive. They put kids who moved into the area on more desirable tracks and put us on our last choice and most disruptive track. We had an older child at high school who was not on track and that was supposed to make our younger a priority for being on the most similar track instead he was on the most disparate. Went to the school board and asked for his IEP to be reinstated and was never acknowledged or communicated with afterwards. Regret moving to the area due to the horrible experience with the schools for my children.

I have never seen a more caring community of teachers and administrators than Soaring Hawk. The teachers treat every child as their own student, and all of the teachers know all of the students. My daughter is a Kindergartener at Soaring Hawk, and she already feels like a part of the school. The administrators and teachers foster a positive, caring environment and value academic as well as emotional growth. They have a wonderful team of specialists, and their students make so much growth. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a community where the child and his/her family will be welcomed and supported.

We've had three kids attend this school, we pulled the oldest after a disastrous 5th grade year and are close to pulling the other two. As others have said, the leadership is very poor. There are so many incredible teachers, but the turnover rate is high. One of my students went through three changes in teachers last year. The curriculum is pushed so hard and my kids are bored and not at all engaged in learning. Most parents I speak to are very concerned with the state of this school right now and many plan to pull their kids. We've seen so many kids leave and it is sad to see this school where it is at, but I would not recommend to anyone right now. While I don't like the charter school system here in town and feel like it is one of the reasons schools like this are failing, I have to do what is best for my kids right now.

We have a child at Soaring Hawk. The teachers are great and genuinely care about the students. However, I am unimpressed with the leadership as it appears their sole focus is shoving the curriculum through so they can check a box with the district. We have yet to see any focus or genuine concern from them in regard to getting the students in our community caught up in this post-COVID environment. It even seems like the teachers' hands are tied even though they want to help.

We as a blended family are so happy with SHE! Not only did they welcome my kiddos back in pre k and 1st grade 4 years ago but they welcomed my new husbands kiddos in last year and made them feel right at home! They are kind, loving, caring, and just the best! I can’t complain about one SHE member. Having my youngest on an IEP as well and they take amazing care of him! They are like family now!

Soaring Hawk is amazing! The office staff is so welcoming and the teachers are awesome. The moderate needs ladies are incredible and attentive. Can't say enough great things about SHE.

In this school district, we are so blessed to have CHOICE!!! I choose Soaring Hawk for many reasons. I love the smaller neighborhood and community feel. I love the staff! I love how my son loves to go to school each day and is thriving. Choice was important to me. I mean, what a huge choice to make for our children. I would continue to choose Soaring Hawk over and over. Keep doing great things Soaring Hawk!!!

I have had 2 kids who are very different go through Soaring Hawk. It has a community feel. The staff know the kids and their families very well. My kids always felt loved and welcomed. In looking at scores across the district I see that Soaring Hawks scores are above average. It is a great neighborhood school.

I have been very happy with Soaring Hawk. I have lived in 3 different states and this is by far the best Elementary School we have been in. It is a very welcoming school from the time you walk in (Office staff) to the teachers, support staff and administration. Class sizes are small, communication is great and my kids are learning and happy!

I've had four children attend Soaring Hawk Elementary. Each child has their own unique needs and strengths. This school has been able to support all of the needs, while helping them shine with their strengths. We've been impressed with the administration team and the teachers. As an educator from a different state, I wanted to find a school that would meet the high expectations I have for my own children's education. Soaring Hawk has met those expectations, while fostering their social and emotional well being. I highly recommend this school.

We have two students who are thriving at Soaring Hawk. The teachers and the administration are incredibly supportive. There is a great balance of social/emotional learning and academic excellence. Soaring Hawk has a wonderful staff and our children could not be happier here. The school environment and all staff are always welcoming. Wonderful neighbordhood school!

Soaring Hawk is an amazing public neighborhood school!! We love the staff and our kids have grown so much academically since we moved to this school. The teachers care about the kids and invest so much in them. We know our kids are getting the best education at Soaring Hawk!
