More discipline guidelines are needed. The school will honor and prize the bullies instead of disciplining, and teaching them. Principal needs to be more involved on the disciplining process instead of handing it to the assistant and hoping it will get resolved. They need to follow up with parents on the actions they are taking when concerns are raised.

This school has such a feeling of small town community. PTA is super involved and administration truly cares about student learning.

There were some communication issues and bumps in the road along the way, but things seem to be much better now that this is cleared up. I felt I had to jump through quite a few hoops to truly reach an understanding with some of the educators involved with my son's education, but my situation is a bit unique. I wish I would have submitted my legal shared parenting plan to the school as soon as it had been ratified by the court. Not having it on file lead to some misunderstandings between some of the educators and my son's two households. Once I submitted all my legal documentation, everything immediately cleared up and now we are on the same page. (If you have a legal shared parenting plan, I definitely recommend submitting it for your child's records. I also recommend making the effort to communicate your situation clearly with anyone involved with your child's education.) I am grateful that my son is enjoying his time at Redbug. At the end of 1st grade, he enthusiastically asserted that Redbug Elementary School is the best school in the whole world! That's showing some school pride and spirit! :)

This school has been the best for our kids. Very attentive and our child's progress has vastly improved from previous school attended. The extra programs really help expand experiences. Look forward to many years with the staff and teachers. Thank You =)

My son goes to this school and I tell you they SUCK! They give a kindergartner tons of homework. How stupid is that to give a kindergartner home work? It might now matter so much is we didn't both work. But we do its the real world. And if you can't teach a kid to read and basic math skills in a regular day, you need to find another just job.

Very disorganized school in general. My daughter has attended rb for 4th and 5th grade. Everything about this school is dissapointing. Last month there was a bomb threat and they evacuated the school...only sent an email after the fact. If I call the front office for any reason, no one ever knows what's going on at all. Car rider line is ridiculous. Very unfriendly for families with kids not yet in school, as they arent allowed on school property.

I've had two children attend Red Bug Elementary. Every teacher was excellent. The PTA and staff always welcomed parents. The few times I had to interact with administration was pleasant and satisfactory. Also, this school is very safe!

RBE is the best! My daughter is in her 5th year and she is doing so well thanks to the teachers and staff at RBE. Special note: The staff keeps this school very safe and secure.

My daughter enjoyed her time at this school, especially her teachers. The PTA looks to involve any parent wanting to volunteer, which is awesome. Teachers are always willing to have parents in their classes. The only thing that I would change would be the front office staff. They are not very friendly and seem perpetually frazzled.

Pick-up and drop off are a nightmare. The parking lot is too small for a school RBE size. There should be some major construction to improve this process. It is potentially dangerous.

This will be my sons second year at Red Bug Elementary. I haven't had a lot of interaction with the schools leadership, but I'm extremely happy with both of his teachers thus far. It's a very clean, safe environment for kids and my son enjoys going. I can't say enough about his teachers as they truly care about each student's progression. They embody what we all believe to be a "caring" teacher.

We are in our third year here and we could not be any happier. The second grade teacher we have is absolutely outstanding and so is the gifted teacher. Administration has always been willing to meet with us and listen to our concerns.

My son goes to RBE. He had a terrible experience with the 3rd grade teacher he had last year, she was constantly yelling at him and making horrible negative comments. Never a posive note in his planner at all. Of course the administration always denies any wrong doing from the teachers. This year he has a great teacher that encourages him and he is a lot happier

It's our first year at RBE, and I am very disappointed. Our teacher is great, but I find administration to be uncaring. Also, the carline is ridiculously long, too.

My son went to Kindergarten here last year and is now in first grade and I love this school. The teachers are kind and helpful. They do their best to make sure everyone is happy and really welcome parents to come and be involved with their childs school. All of the rooms have smart boards and the teachers wear mics and can be heard throughout the classrooms through speakers so no child has a disadvantage. I am very proud that my kids get to go here.

The teachers are nice and want the best for their students; however, the administrators need to go. They don't answer parent questions and concerns. I'm really disappointed in this school.

My child has been going to Red Bug for the last two years and I have never once regretted enrolling him.
