ICS is much more than 'just a school'. It is a community of Believers that is brought together through the common bond of God's calling to be directly involved in not only their child's education, but most importantly in shaping and directing hearts towards Almighty God. The Biblical worldview serves to help young minds look for evidences of Him in every aspect of life. As Grandparents, we are very GRATEFUL that our Grand-Kiddos have had the privilege of making solid, Godly relationships that will serve, and encourage them for a lifetime.

If you are certain that you want your children to go to school, but you just can t stand the idea of being away from them, then this is the best school there is. If you want to homeschool, but you want to drop them off somewhere sometimes, look ELSEWHERE. I ve found ICS more difficult than homeschooling. Rather than getting the best of both worlds, it's the worst of both worlds. ICS requires you to be involved in incredibly specific ways, and if it s inconvenient on your family, there is little sympathy. Also, I no longer have any choice in curriculum, and my children are forced to do busy work. They also have time consuming protocols for how things need to be turned it, which is taxing on parents. They pride themselves in allowing parents to spend more time with their children, but that's not true if homeschooling is your other option. I have many kids, and homeschooling allows me to balance my time with all of them. Some people aren t drawn to homeschooling, and those are the ones that love ICS. If you really want all your children in a real school, and if you are able to, and very much want to be in your child s classroom almost every day, you ll love it.

ICS is a hybrid of private schooling and homeschooling. Therefore parental involvement is very high which means you have well behaved children and families involved in many ways. We have had children here for 4 years with a total of 7 teachers. I can honestly say that the staff is the cream of the crop. We only had one negative experience with a teacher and it was very appropriately addressed by the administration. The school is based on Christian principles and it is lived out in many ways throughout the school year.

Amazing leadership, complete prent involvement and excellent, loving teachers. My children have thrived at this school and had complete one on one attention. Very challenging academic progam, way above the public schools. Wonderful application and teaching of the Bible.
