It's been 2 months and I still haven't gotten my chromebook and when I ask them they say it is out of their control. They also have not been nice to new students have not given right guidelines, and then I get in trouble for it.

I am disappointed with the school's performance so far, but I am willing to give it another chance for this year. I believe that teachers should adopt a more inclusive and supportive approach towards students, rather than showing favoritism and causing hurt feelings.

I actually went to this school when I was a kid and I loved it! It was the best school years i’ve ever had and before this school I would skip school days… when I started attending West Cary I tried to make it into school while having the flu i love going so much! for me it was definitely the best school experience I had ever had!

I will give 5 star to west Cary middle school, My Son is in 6th Grade, study is not just basic in west Cary middle school but its an advanced study - comes with chosen extra subject which my son selected - while coming from 6th grade to 7th grade - West Cary School Offers in advance - Band program social studies subject or digital studies computers that all comes as advanced studies while taking in 6th grade - digital literacy- I seen confident in my 6th grader, as well as smartness and find my little baby turn out big boy at West Cary Middle school - having knowledge - now I want to choose music or computer or social studies.also with great performance in science - her teacher in 6th grade provide excellence in science certificate awarded- West Cary Middle School if kids done great performance than By year end teacher awarded certificate of excellency also those are above average kids in studies west Cary have AIG in Middle School to Select where my son is in science {AIG} {SSA}I selected West Cary Middle School after checking their advanced study program for middle schooler, because my son wanted to be scientist so its very important what is advancement he will get in middle school with base study.Also West Cary Middle School - Digital Literacy advancement program is turn out outstanding for my son too.Hope my review is not bored but help out - to Readers ThanksSunita Chopra

Terrible school. Some teachers are literally bullies. I want to reveal their names if I could. I think they know who they are. They are playing favoritism, and harass any kids not obedient.

I was hoping that the reviews would be wrong as this was the most convenient choice in schools for my child, but he is now almost through the 6th grade and he absolutely hates school. He used to enjoy school, but 6th grade at West Cary completely changed that. There is daily bullying, administration that doesn't seem to know how to effectively deal with the issues except by punitive measures and wide sweeping rule changes that impact everyone negatively. Some teachers are wonderful and caring, I don't want to make a blanket statement about the teachers. But there definitely are teachers that are not good communicators and have ignored when my son tried to tell them that he was being bullied in the moment. There is a new principal that just started, so hoping that he will be able to make the necessary changes. But I don't think that I want to keep my son in the environment to wait and see.

Terrible school. If you do not want your child to have a mental meltdown. Do not send your child here. Do not send your child to get bully by staff and student. If you can try another school... the reviews are right about this school bullying issues.

My child attended for the 6th grade. He is moving to a charter school next year. The bullying and illegal activities going on here tell me this administration has lost control of the student body.

west cary middle school has lot of electives which is great if your child is struggling

My son started attending West Cary this year as a 7th grader, after we moved to the area from another state. He's always been a great student and had the opportunity to attend great schools. We are all very happy with his experience at West Cary so far. His teachers are wonderful and have given him opportunities that fit his interests and abilities. We are grateful to the teachers, staff, and kind students who've helped make his transition to a new school a positive experience!

We have had a great experience so far. The new principal has made all the difference. I give him tons of credit as well as the support staff. We came here from Cedar Fork and were very concerned. There was no need for it. It is a great school and we are about to finish are second year there.

This a great school everyone learns a little something, even though they don't deal with the troublemakers very well the school builds a lot of character.

West Cary is a really great school. Yeah, you get your fair share of troublemakers and mean girls, but there are way more nice kids than bullies. The teachers and staff really make an effort to communicate with the parents and families. All of the teachers are really nice. The student body is so diverse that pretty much no one ever gets teased for being "different," and the teachers really try to help students succeed. If you actually care about your grades and can put in a little bit of effort, then West Cary is for you. Please ignore all those negative reviews!!! They switched principals now, and the fine arts program is EXCELLENT. Thanks!

Old, very overcrowded facility. Overworked, over-bureaucratic administration. Too many teachers who are simply doing the minimum required, and who frankly could care less about whether or not students are learning.- A very disappointed parent.

My daughter attended WCMS and really enjoyed it. We felt her teachers and the administration were very responsive and cared about the quality of her education.
