We have now been at Kingswood for 9 years, and have really loved it. The community is wonderful, and events like the spring fair, concerts, etc. were particularly nice in the beginning to help you feel connected and included at Kingswood. The school meets its challenges with incredible hard work, determination, and compassion. I hope that incoming parents continue to be involved - it is so rewarding and really contributes to making the school what it is, from a family perspective. I am so glad that my children have attended this school.

Have had a wonderful experience at Kingswood over the last 6 years. No school is perfect but we really felt like our child was supported, encouraged and well-watched over. Have had zero complaints with any teacher we were assigned and the size of the student body is a real bonus. The magnet program was an amazing approach to learning at the younger stages and really helped our child make progress at her own pace and advance easily. There is a real sense of community and family, we will miss Kingswood dearly.

We love Kingswood because of the community it provides. My son is in the ECS program at Kingswood but I don't ever feel like he is separated from the rest of the school like I hear about elsewhere. The school also does a great job of supporting families who are struggling, especially around the holidays. They have a program called backpack buddies to provide food during the school year to families in need and around Thanksgiving they give these families a big box with everything they need to make Thanksgiving dinner. The clubs and after school activities are also amazing, my son hasn't participated so I can't tell you first hand but seeing his friends eyes light up because of something they made in Lego club is pretty amazing.

It is a very good school. My older one has completed 2 years. He enjoys the school a lot. The school does not overburden him with homework. The school has started clubs like LEGO club, chess club, running club, gardening club etc. Last year they participated in Science Olympiad. My son was part of the team. This year due to lack of participants the school could not participate. My son also went to NC regional science fair to present his project. There were 7 other kids with him too. It was a great experience for my son and us. My son is also part of the student committee. There are so many activities at the school to participate in.Hopefully my younger son will have the same experience. We will continue sending our kids to Kingswood ES. Both the kids love the school!

Every time I visit this school as a parent for an event I feel so good about our choice to send our kids here. It has been a wonderful experience so far!

We started at this school when my son entered kindergarten, which also happened to be the first year Kingswood became a Magnet School. We have been very pleased with the school for many reasons. The teachers and admin are absolutely fantastic.

We have been at Kingswood for 3 years now and it is like a family. The office staff and Ms. Sherri treats everyone like they are part of the family. They are always available if you have a concern about anything, everyone is friendly and the teachers are excellent.

This is the first year of the new transformation of Kingswood to a STEM Magnet. The principle is great, she is parent friendly and enjoys the children. The first month of school she was out doing carpool, greeting and walking students to class. She has monthly meetings to keep the lines of communication open. The staff has been great. My child is enjoying kindergarten and I love the stem opportunities. This school has been getting better and better over the years. With the addition of stem several year back and Montessori recently, its headed to the top.

My son is in his second year at Kingswood. The principal and the teachers are outstanding. They go the extra mile for their students. We love their STEM program. I'd definitely recommend this school to anyone.

My son loves this school and so do I!! I think his teacher is very wonderful and my son learns a lot compared to what I thought Kindergarteners would learn; in my day this was all play and abc's plus sing a longs!! Very nice school and all the staff are very inviting!! Great place to send your child just wish they would adopt a before care program!!
