We just finished Kinder at this school and half way through summer break my son can’t wait to start 1st. So far we feel the love and care from the staff. My son has improved dramatically over the year in his writing and reading. He excelled at math. I can’t believe I’m saying this but he actually misses his homework assignments. My son struggles with getting distracted and distracting others (likes to be the center of attention) and the school was able to manage that in a way that allowed him to stay on task and retain what he learned. I am so happy at this school they provide everything that we need. I only wish that I could have had my son in the summer school program but at the time it was only a few weeks that were offered and for simplicity we put him in a community park summer program. I notice a drastic difference in the way my son behaves in this new environment and he craves the structure that St. Philomena provides. My son even wants to be a reader at church.All positive feels here. Sister Mary John is amazing!

My epreints a this school is the best they don´t deal with the probles that well and the classrooms are alright but they should be bigger and make a playground not on the parking lot.

This school is by far the best there is. Yes it's a private school, my wife and I are making sacrifices to send our 3 children there. We are paying $$, but the education level they are being taught is far advanced compared to public schools. We sent one of our kids to a public pre-school for free and we got what we payed for. Our other child went to St. Philomena for pre-school, he learned to read and solve math problems, much more then our other one that went to a public school, I wished they had pre-school when my other one went. But at least when he started, they helped him excel. The school staff and faculty are very caring for the kids and they help them develop their skills. The school is administered by Carmelite Sisters and having their Catholic faith reinforced by them and weekly mass, is just a plus. The school has invested in technology with computers, tablets and digital whiteboards. My saying is "If you're going to pay for education, invest your money in your child at this school." Your child will get a higher level of education from this school. My kinder is doing 1st grade math. Just goes to show the education level.
