I have a son who is in 10th grade and I am so thankful for Creekview. He has a wonderful group of friends and I feel that he is being challenged academically. We moved into this area because of the schools and have been so pleased.

This school is not the best, my sister has a learning disability -has ADHD- and her teachers know that. They don't help her, she gets distracted really easily, and gets off track. She can't help that, she has been taking medicine, but it doesn't really help her. The medicine makes her feel upset and she cries because of it. The school has had a meeting with her, and they had asked her if she need a helper there to help her or help her understand, and my sister said yes, because she needs it. That was over 1/2 months ago. They hadn't provided her with a helper, that can focus on my sister and only her. This school is not the best with people who have learning disabilities. Overall, this school needs to do better.

I didn't "graduate" the traditional way, since I dropped out and got my GED at 18, but that's besides the point.I was in this school from 9th grade to 10th grade, and dropped out the beginning of 11th grade.Homework: This entirely depends on the teachers and classes you take. If you take a regular class instead of an honors or AP class, expect less homework. The teachers hand out homework differently, too, but to be honest as long as you pay attention in class and do a little studying you will be okay.Teachers: I really liked the teachers I had. They knew what they were doing, and taught well. The people in my classes who complained about teachers were the ones who didn't pay attention in class. I had to be given a 504 plan for my mental health, and the teachers accommodated to all of my needs. For example, I had severe anxiety when presenting in front of a class, so the teachers agreed to let me present alone to them. They are great people!Leadership: Not sure what to put here, but there are many clubs to choose from at this school. Also the end of the school spirit at football games is crazy. I was in the band and the student section always went wild at football games.Character: There isn't much compassion as a whole. It depends from person to person, but everybody is fending for themselves. If you aren't already in a clique or group of people, they could care less about you.Learning Differences: This school apparently has a great program for disabled kids according to my mom. My brother has autism and graduated from there. Most of the students who aren't disabled are incredibly nice to the disabled students. They say hi to them in the halls, high five them, etc. There will always be some bad apples, but for the most part they are nice to the disabled students.Bullying: I wouldn't say there's straight up "bullying", just no compassion. Also leaving people out. This goes back to the clique thing I mentioned earlier. The school doesn't care.Overall I recommend this school. I wasn't there to make friends, I just wanted to graduate but my mental health interfered with that. I hope this review helps someone.

Don’t send your kids here or to its middle school please. It all starts with the overcrowding. The zoning expands to the entire northeast section of the county so it’s severly overcrowded with kids that live 30 mins away. Plus they keep building more houses, which doesn’t help. Because the overcrowding is so bad, only seniors and some juniors can park. And because the middle and highschool are right across from eachother and get out at the same time, about a million kids are car rider. The busses are also severly overcrowded. I only had a locker my freshman year because we didn’t, and still don’t, have enough. The only reason the test scores are so high is because they push AP and honors classes down kids throats. In this school your kid is literally a slave to the system. You would think, since they are getting rich off these kids, that theyd be able to afford better materials. Nope. We still have dell laptops from 2009 and classes that hardly get cleaned. Their lack of effort reflects on the students too, it makes them uninspired kids that only get good grades because of the hope that they can get out of there and to college. The hallways are barren and it looks like hospital, honestly. There’s no art or anything that says “hey we’re actually embracing the youth of tomorrow”. Just white walls. The only thing I can commend about this school is its English department. Anyway I transferred to a nearby school and experianced a total culture shock, I can’t tell you how badly I wished I had transferred sooner. Oh and the school knows they have a problem, because so many kids transfer out of it. At my new school I’ve met 6 people already—that I know of—who were in my grade at Creekview. I’ve talked to them and their experience reflects mine.

My son gets denied lunch on a regular basis because it would put him "over", even though they don't want to give him his balance if he asks.They are supposed to have online system (Aspen) for tracking grades and assignments but not one teacher in two years has kept it up to date, so by the time the grade is listed as missing in the system they say it is too late to hand it in. The art teacher makes ongoing snarky comments about how some kids (she looks at my son) can't draw or won't graduate from high school. Now he doesn't want to take any more art classes because of the teacher.Very assembly line in many ways.My son was rated 'exceeds' on all his tests before he started at this HS and now he is just barely in the minimum levels. Not much to brag about. And in addition, school now gives him anxiety and insomnia. We may move just to get away from this school.

I don't know if she is still there, but Mrs. Brown is probably the greatest teacher I have ever had. I had her for econ my senior year and if you pay attention and retain it all college econ will be incredibly easy. She definitely knows her stuff. I haven't had to study for any of my test. So shes either the best teacher on earth or I'm some kind of savant. But seriously this school is pretty swell, definitely prepares you for college, except for math. The only worthy math teacher is Mrs. Norris.

My son is a Senior this year and I am so thrilled with the outstanding education he has acquired while at Creekview. The principal is excellent and the students think so as well. Academics are challenging and I feel my son is definitely ready for college. Thank you Creekview :)

Principal and staff are pretty good. It is easy to make friends here, and the academic and sports here are overachieving. Probably not the best school out therem but certainly not the worst. -Graduating class of 14

Although the school is full of amazing teachers, it lacks greatly in other areas. If you are moving to this district from somewhere else you can forget making friends. The kids are cruel and i get teased for "being born above the mason-dixon line." They are not at all accepting of diversity. The dress code is way too strict. They need to focus on making their classes actually challenging, not spend all their time measuring the hemline of my skirt with a 3x5 notecard. I am rather conservative person, but no where sells skirts that are three inches above the knee unless i get it from the old lady section.
