Great experience with my middle schooler! Great teachers who care about the whole child.

Doesn't welcome kids that wasn't born and raise here. Teachers in the halls act as if they don't know where the halls are when asked for help. Teacher was to give a new locker since the one they originally gave didn't work. Had student go to rest of the classes with backpack. White stayed with white, Mexicans with mexicans. No mixing. Ask students and teachers for directions and they look at you as if you're deplorable.

This school and it's academic staff needs a whole lot of work. The teachers do not or not allowed to communicate with the parents. I have had an extremely difficult time getting any of the teachers to contact me over the last couple of years. If another option was available for educating my children, I would consider it. As a working parent, home schooling is just not an option. The school talks a good game in regards to taking a stand against bullying..However, when the issue of bullying is brought up it is not unusual for the student to hear " they wouldn't pick on you if you didn't give them a reason too". If your child is sports minded, then by all means, they will not have any problems at this school. On the other hand if your child or children are the least bit "creative" then they are ignored by staff and bullied by other students and some staff.
