The best decision I could have made was to send my kids to North Cape! The entire staff and principal have been so welcoming to my children. The staff is by far the best! My children have been learning so much and getting personalized attention to help them both grow. The kids have not had anything bad to say about the school. The small class sizes are a huge benefit for the school. All of the teachers communicate with concerns/positive comments about my children. North Cape's overall culture is so welcoming and positive, keeping the needs of the students first and foremost. Keep up the great work NC!

North Cape is an amazing school! The teachers are dedicated and professional and know how to meet the needs of kids. They make sure that every student can learn and they take the time to really get to know your child! The Superintendent/Principal is an outstanding leader who treats ALL kids fairly and with kindness. He is well loved by students, staff and families for his tireless work to make it the best school on the planet. I would highly recommend this school to all families. The office staff is friendly and helpful - the environment is welcoming and respectful. They have gone above and beyond to make sure kids are in school every day and learning! So proud to be the parent of several North Cape Vikings!

Blinded by the shiny “car salesman” hype of how great this school is. Definitely a lemon!

My neighbor told me about the negative reviews from disgruntled ex staff and families who have left so I had to do a review. These bitter, rude people loved the school until they and/or their kids were held accountable for negative behavior so now they rip it to shreds - I say "get a life." Some of you wrote wonderful letters of support to staff and leader and now you say it is an awful place because you didn't get your way? Really?! Great role model to your kids. I love this school! I went to school there and send my kids there and will always support them! My kids are happy and learning and I always feel welcome. Just attended the spaghetti dinner and felt a real sense of family while enjoying the best spaghetti ever!

Our overall experience was awful. We will be moving our children out of the district due to the inadequate leadership.

Very poor. I would consider a different school district in the area if you are looking.

This school is fantastic my kids love it there. They have been very supportive of both IEP needs and advanced class opportunities. The teachers are very kind and supportive of the students and parents.

We love this school. My kids enjoy the teachers they are really supportive as is the principal. The kids that go there have been great too. We open enrolled here which made me nervous but I couldn't have picked a better school.

Agree with other reviewer, needs new principal. School is an excellent school, students, and staff are also above average. The low review is for the megalomaniac of a principal. You are either in her circle of friends, or you're not, (note: helps if you are female) and when you are not, and having any kind of issues with your child, be prepared to have the principal way more involved in your personal life than should be allowed. The only problems that I have with the academics are: 1. I'm not a fan of teachers who modify tests with low scores, and letting students retake the test to get higher scores. I know it makes the school look better because it appears the students have highger grades at that school, but how does that actually help the students. High schools do not do this. 2. It would be nice if there was more of an efort to help the children with spelling.

I cannot believe the negative comments on here! My son has attended for 4 years now and we have had nothing but positive experiences. The principal is very easy to talk to and is willing to go above and beyond for the students. The teachers are very compassionate and their care for their students is obvious. My son is not the best student, but I have worked together with the teachers and principal to make learning a greatly positive experience for him. Do not hesitate to send your child here. They are in good hands.
