I am extremely disappointed with the elementary portion of this school. The level of strictness placed on the students is absurd, creating an oppressive environment where children are stifled rather than nurtured. It's disheartening to see teachers of such poor quality handling young children. So far, 3families have already pulled their children from the school just months into the current school year because of these incompetent teachers and leadership running the school into the ground. To make matters worse, my 1st grader was involved in a very serious incident where her teacher completely lost control and lashed out at her—right in front of me. We immediately reported this, but instead of addressing the situation, the school treated us like enemies. They ignored our communications and made no effort to bring my daughter back to school after the incident. Even worse, no disciplinary action was taken against the teacher, despite her unprofessional and alarming behavior. My child was left unsupported, and our concerns were completely disregarded. I’ve met with the principal many times throughout the last 3 years of her times at St.Leonard regarding issues within the school, but nothing ever changes. She will listen to you, but concerns are always disregarded. No changes are made for the good of the kids, and it’s clear that the administration cares more about maintaining the reputation of the school and church than addressing the well-being of the students. It's beyond frustrating that the kids’ needs are not their priority.I cannot in good conscience recommend this school to any parent. If you value your child’s safety, emotional well-being, and academic development look elsewhere. This school does not prioritize the students at all.

I wish our 6 years of dedication and financial support would have resulted in a better outcome for our 9 year old daughter, academically and religiously but this was not the outcome. We supported the school & parish and worked within the policy and chain of authority unsuccessfully, only proving, the Catholic education experience is no longera priority for the family. The religious privilege of the sign of peace in the Catholic church was stripped away in the once loving Friday family & school mass. After working with the Priest, Principal and church administration we had to evaluate the academic performance and Christian principles that lead us to St. Leonard in Muskego. After much debate, within the school, and declining academics in the elementary school, I would not recommend Saint Leonard. As an aluminum and advocate of the school, I challenge the Milwaukee Archdiocese to consider what these choices will do to the catholic education system in the future.

I am an alumni from this school in the past few years. Ever since the current principal started working the school has began to fall apart. Almost all of the teachers have left/leave within their first few years due to the extreme amount of pressure the principal puts them under. On top of that the disciplinary action that takes place there is next to non existent. While theelementary school is alright due to the incredible teachers, less can be said about the middle school. This leads to the elementary school teachers having to take turns supervising during lunch/recess leaving them with only a fifteen minute break in the entire day. On top of all of this, the principal does little to encourage better behavior. At one point, she actually went into the sixth grade classroom and said, “You know nobody likes you guys, right?” The only middle school teacher that actually encourages respect and discipline is the beloved sixth grade teacher, other than that, bad behavior is just pushed aside because, “teens will be teens”. All in all, I would not recommend this school to anyone, especially with the way better public schools in the area.

ST. LEONARDS IS A EXCELLENT SCHOOL! ITS REALLY NEAT TO LEARN JESUS AND RELATE IT TO THE FACTS OF YOUR LIFE! PEOPLE WHO COME TO THIS SCHOOL IS VERY PROUD THAT THE SAME KIDS WHO ARE IN YOUR CLASS ARE WITH YOU ALL THE TIME! I THINK THAT THIS SCHOOL COULD IMPROVE WITH THE STUDENTS WHO NEEDS SPECIAL NEEDS AND THEY MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE TEACHER IS TEACHING. ITS A VERY WELL EDUCATED SCHOOL AND YOU ALWAYS LEARN EVERY DAY.

St. Leonard School and Church is an excellent school / church. Students, staff, and parents work well together. My children have learned morals, values, and a sense of respect for all people and walks of life. Investing in your child's education is far better than anything you could buy at a store. Can you buy respect? It is a way of life at St. Leonard School.
