This is an awful school, they do not care about the students. They do not care about bullying or the kids mental health. They won’t help you out with anything and the communication sucks! “They are supposed to be mandated reports but fail to do so” I feel so bad for all the students who are not getting the help and education they deserve. My children attend here currently and for the next following year they will never step foot back at this horrible school. I strongly advise you to not enroll your kids here!! Unless you want them to be severely bullied, and have mental health issues .

Our daughter attends this school (Marionneaux elementary school) here in Buckeye and they are horrible at communication with parents. You could call the school and they never pick up, you could go visit the school and request to have a conference with the teachers or principal and they’ll say they’ll call you to set something up and they’ll never get back to you. We’ve had issues where my daughter is being bullied and reports it to her teacher and they never inform us about it. We had a situation where two lil girls hanged up on my daughter to fight her and they took all three to the office but we didn’t find out till a week later about it. Overall this has been a horrible school and would not recommend unrolling your child here.

My child learned so much while attending this school but I had to pull him out due to the bullying. Two different kids has punched him in the face in a 3 week span. The school tried helping by showing my son the counselor’s office but the physical bullying was too much. Before this incident, there was a parent crying in the lobby because her son was bullied too and another week after, I witnessed a different parent yelling at a male student for bullying her daughter. Bullying is a problem at this school for sure because my son has attended a more crowded and lower income school district and experienced zero bullying.

Unfortunately my son started late in the year and I had mention very clearly that he was in counseling. This was not brought up to student or myself until incidents happened. I know my son is no angel however students are definitely favored here and not all is told to parents. Teachers are not supportive and do not communicate with parents. They let bullying occur and do nothing about it.

My child has been at this school for about 2 months and it’s been going well so far. I’m able to connect with the teacher whenever needed through an app on my phone and the teacher is very responsive, caring, and respectful. My child has learned a lot and returns home with schoolwork. I’m pleased with the work packets they complete during the school day. My child hasn’t ever had homework but my viewpoint on homework is very unpopular because I never understood why children are in school for 7 hours and have to continue schoolwork while home, so it’s not needed in my opinion; I’m very pleased that no homework has been sent. The school is clean and I’ve had mostly good experience with the front office. One worker doesn’t want to assist until you speak up. The rest seemed on task, friendly, focused, and helpful. I drop my child off and pick up; the teachers assisting the kids in the morning are protective of the children and alert. I arrive 30 minutes early for pickup and am able to see a lot of things; the teachers are helpful to the special needs children, have a connection with them, and make sure they arrive on the buses safely. The rest of the afternoon teachers have bigger classes so they’re not as friendly as the special needs teachers but they’re focused and try to make sure each child is going to the correct car for pickup. Pickups could be more secure and organized. Parents are supposed to stay in their car and follow the curb but they get out of and stand on the sidewalk for their kids. This could be a safety issue so they need to be more strict on that. My child hasn’t experienced bullying at this time. Overall, I would say this school is one of the better schools in AZ and it’s a great fit for my family. I hope it continues.

Well the only review made makes all the sense. My son does not and has not progressed at this school. It unfortunately that this district gets away with what they do. Please report every situation no matter how little it may be. The dept of education, attorney general office, the city of buckeye go make public comments at the district. I attended a public meeting from the district to make my public comment and let me tell you we are nothing but numbers to these people. Our children and special needs children are nothing but numbers to this district. They are more about planning to increase volume of people then to address the non working system they have for the community.

My child went there from 3rd-7th grade. She has autism and the school stated she was "too smart" for an IEP. As parent you have the right to have your child on an IEP but she was never put on one even though I requested multiple times, every year. She has been on a 504 plan that was NEVER followed and she was singled out for being herself. She is autistic and very attention seeking. I have asked for someone to sit with her to keep her on task since 3rd grade but again my requests fell on deaf ears. My child is in 7th grade, she is very behind in school and I am frustrated beyond belief that in 2022 I have to fight the school to get my diagnosed child an education.
