We just got redistricted to the new elementary called rossroads, but my kids were students at White Lock for several years. The teachers and staff are excellent, there’s a very engaged PTO with lots of opportunities to parents to volunteer, and I was pleased with my kids academics. Brownsburg goes beyond what most school districts do to ensure every school in the district is very well balanced based on socioeconomic status and other diversity factors. I think the model works well, although the downside is all the schools are clustered together in Brownsburg and the further away from town limits you live there is high probability of some very long bus rides.

Great school for advancing your child academically. Not a great school for emotional or mental support. Rules, curriculum, and protocol are placed above the well being of a child. Some teachers here are fantastic, while others slide by doing the bare minimum or putting others down to advance themselves. Major issues involving children's safety were brought up and nothing was done. Parents were not contacted because English was not a first language. Impressive front. Not impressive function. If you are looking to be a teacher here. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

My Grandkids go here and love it . Teachers are awesome. I pick them up on Wednesdays and they are so organized outside as we are picking up our children. Would recommend to everyone. Grammy Greathouse

all the schools in brownsburg need diversity training. its obvious that lack skills on how to deal and communicate with people of different backgrounds. they need to hire people of different minorities. I feel this would help the problem that exist in the area.

My child transferred from HSE school system this year. I found the reading curriculum slightly more advanced at HSE but the math to be much more advanced at White Lick. The teachers and staff at White Lick did a wonderful job with my daughter catching her up to speed with math and making her feel welcome in her new class. I would recommend this school to anyone.

We moved to this area recently and had 3 kids at Whitelick. The teachers were great about helping them transition to a new school and community. The teachers really have their hands full, most of the classes are over 25 students. I'm really glad that we chose this school.
