Overall, my child has had a very positive experience at Robey. My only complaints are that sometimes communication is lacking, but if a parent keeps asking questions and is persistent in getting information, teachers and administrators are more than happy to help. Sometimes the amount of homework is overwhelming for students, especially for working or single parents and parents of multiple students. In my experience, teachers do not proactively reach out at the first sign of a child struggling in a particular subject, for example. So parents have to keep on top of what is being covered, watch test and quiz scores, and ask for additional help or one-on-one attention if they notice their child is struggling. I feel like more could be done in teaching students HOW to study/take notes. But overall, the teachers, administrators and staff are kind, helpful and friendly, and I do believe they genuinely care about the students. We have had no issues with bullying or feeling unsafe, and my child enjoys going to school. My child says that while other students occasionally fight and can be mean, there have never been any issues with her classmates or friends. Overall we have been very happy with our experience at Robey.

Horrible. We have been dealing with bullies in this school and tried to work with the principal but we are not taken seriously

I have had two boys at Robey. One in their accelerated Horizons program that is starting 7TH grade at CHC this year, and one continuing here in 2ND grade. My husband went here as a child, along with his mother, and a full host of family members. I have loved every year our boys have attended. The staff is amazing. They are kind, concerned, envolved, and always put each students safety and well being first. They are the last elementary school to keep the PTO basketball league going, which our oldest loved. My boys love Robey! They have excelled academically. They have been challenged. They have been taught by some of the best teachers I believe the state has to offer. We are definitely a proud Robey Rocket Family!

There is a reason everyone wants their children to go to Robey! It is a wonderful school that is inclusive of all students. Academics and character building are equally important and I feel very blessed my children get to attend this great school!

Ive had four children either go through Robey or are currently going through Robey. Both children who are now in high school have excelled because of Robey. In fact, their exact words were "you can tell who the Robey kids are" when referring to starting Junior High. My two youngest who are currently enrolled at Robey love their teachers and their friends. They are super involved not just in class work but are allowed the freedom to help around the school because of their grades. They both are in reading levels well beyond what is required and I think that is partly attributed to the time and effort spent by the teachers.

Robey Elementary is the definition of a "Great School!" The staff is amazing from the office staff to every teacher in every classroom. This is our first year at Robey we relocated here to Indy June of last year. Education is very important to us and being that they were leaving a 4 star state recognized school I was wanting to find a school that would continue to challenge my girls. I definitely found that in Robey. What I like most is that Robey is very family oriented, everyone is friendly and helpful with the goal of getting and keeping every child on the right path.
