Overall I would NOT Recommend this school. Children get overlooked. I am very disappointed with there approach on misbehavior and disorder in the classrooms. :( would have expected better coming from a Catholic School.

My son start it here from Pre K, now his in 5th grade and still love the School. The stuff is nice even the principal. I didn't mention the priest Monsignor who is excellent, caring, and very helpful to everyone. God bless them all.

Visiting St. A's this week was a feast, as a long time graduate, I can appreciate the many positive changes. I am also thankful for the time the principal took to show me around to my boy's future classroom. Looking forward to next year.

My daughter just started at St A this year. The new principal made her feel so welcomed as did the teachers. She loves the school. It is a very warm and nice environment. If you want a really nice good school for your child go to St Athanasius.

The school is very disfunctional. They teach religion but, they do not follow the catholic way. There are alot of mean things happening and it is terrible.I would never tell anyone to send there children there.

I have two children in the school and am very pleased with their education and the excellent teachers they have. Others complain about the quantity of homework, but I think it's just the right amount, practicing what was taught each day. Keep up the great work, St A's.

I agree with the parent review. My child was making fun of I was yelled and cursed out by the principle. I went to the pastor he is in charge of the school. Nothing helped. do not recommend to anybody. I am giving zero to staff and school overall.

Take your child out after the second grade!!!! teachers in the older grades are terrible. They bully your child. Make fun of your child. They would have lost their jobs if they worked in a public school. Do't think going to the principal will help. Good luck with that!!

I sent my son to the nursery program in the 2010-2011 school year. It has truly been a blessing for my family. My son enjoys the program immensely and he has learned a lot in just a few months. We were lucky enough to start the program after it was changed to offer full-time and part-time sessions. The teacher, Mrs. Browne, is very dedicated and wonderful with the children. I would recommend the nursery program to parents in Brooklyn who need a place they can trust for their children with many affordable options.
