I am extremely happy with the education and the overall positive experience that Fontbonne Hall has provided for my two daughters. My older daughter, Anna, is a recent graduate of Fontbonne Hall and currently attends West Viginia University and is pursuing a degree in Nursing. Fontbonne prepared her well academically, as well as socially and emotionally for the rigors of college. Thanks to the positive experiences she received while attending Fontbonne, both in the classroom and on the field of play, Anna is very well adjusted and prepared for college and is currently doing very well at WVU. My younger daughter, Emma, is currently a freshwoman at Fontbonne and is also doing very well. She has been getting very good grades. She also plays multiple sports and has been making a lot of friends. Emma takes advantage of the early morning tutoring at Fontbonne before tests. This really gives her the extra confidence she needs to succeed. We love knowing that there is always help waiting for Emma if she needs it; either by peers or staff. Fontbonne is a very supportive school. Everyone is familiar with each other and it’s smaller classroom sizes promote a great intimate setting where teacher/student/classmate bonding is nurtured. Our daughters always share their in-class experiences at the dinner table and that really makes us feel good about Fontbonne. Our daughter’s achievements are truly a product of Fontbonne's dedication to this family feel throughout all of the school’s activities.

Fontbonne is a wonderful school and my husband and I are so grateful for the wonderful experience both of my girls are having in school this year. Every teacher has a true understanding of my daughters and appreciates each one for who they are. They are all kind, supportive, encouraging, and patient. I have two very different students and they are both happy and thriving at Fontbonne. It is so important to know that they are watched and cared for and can go to any of their teachers if they need help, even if it has nothing to do with academics. It is so reassuring to know that the values we instill in them at home are reinforced in school. My daughters get up early everyday and leave with a smile on their faces happy and excited to go to school. Joanna Bodnar Parent Class of 2023 and 2025

As a current student at Fontbonne Hall Academy I couldn’t have been more fortunate to have attended this school. My first year I did not attend Fontbonne, and sadly regret not choosing it in the first place, don’t make that mistake. The experience is what you make out of it, however that is any high school. Fontbonne offers so many different categories of clubs and sports. If one choses they could spend their afternoons after school doing different things, and learn new things. If their is a club not at Fontbonne, a teacher will try to accommodate a student's interest, and form a new club. People have a misinterpretation of the school and it’s academics. three years ago a new principal, Mrs. Spicijaric, came and she greatly changed the school’s academics. Before her the school was runned by a sister, which ran it as if it was still 1980s. Now their are new AP classes being offered, such as AP Physics, AP Italian, AP English for both 11th and 12th graders. Fontbonne also has tradition not like any other school, such as a Sports Night, Fontbonne’s Christmas, FA, and many more to list.

Fontbonne is an all-girls high school in Brooklyn, New York. There are only about 500 girls in the school, which means that the girls have a closer relationship with the faculty of the school. The girls wear uniforms and have to conform to certain rules regarding their appearance. This is very important as it gives the girls a sense of pride in their school. The girls are taught to respect themselves and others. Community service is mandatory, and the girls are encouraged to give back to the community through various clubs and societies at the school. The level of education is very high, and there are a lot of girls who are members of the National Honors Society. The girls are assisted with the college process, and there are a large amount of college scholarships awarded to the girls every year. I would recommend this school to any parents who want their daughters to get a well-rounded education.

Fontbonne Hall Academy is my Alma Mata. I graduated in 2002 and went on to St. John's University with an almost full scholarship. The education I received at Fontbonne is unprecedented. Teachers, staff, students not only prepared me academically for college and shaped me for my current career, but also shaped me for life.

Our students are well prepared to go to college and accept the academic challenge with confidence and appreciation.
