I have been in the school since 6th Grade. Even though I won't be able to continue going there as an 8th grader, don't think I'm not grateful! Sure, not everything there is the best, not every teacher is the best, but there are a lot that are! I am pained to leave! The principle is very involved and the vice principle always tries to keep everyone's spirit up. There are very nice kids there, you will make amazing friends! Maybe Childer's teaching system is better, but I still reccomend this place. I learned a lot here and will never forget it. Don't judge a book by it's cover, the google rating is bad, I know, but it is worth it!

I go to this school and I think the teachers teach very well, but I do not think the students prefer what they’re being taught. This school isn’t the best for mental health, as people will make fun of others.

This is a great school. They keep politics out of the school. They protect the kids from the LGBTQ propaganda. They stick to learning. Not indoctrination.

Administration and teachers here collectively look the other way when bullying and assault occurs. They then punish the victim for "retaliation" if they "push" or try to defend themselves as multiple kids punch, kick, and stomp them. They want the victim to lie there and just take the beating. When the victim attempts to defend themselves, the administration gives them 3 days detention and in detention sits them next to the kids who just assaulted them. This is a breeding ground for juvenile detention attendees. The administration encourages bullying and wants the victims to stay quiet and not speak up or defend themselves. Not a good school for pure, moral, good kids to attend. If your kid is a bully, they will be right at home here. They will learn how to assault kids and get away with it. They will be subconsciously encouraged to keep up the criminal behavior.

This school's administration isn't great to say the least and I'm very disappointed at their recent erasure of LGBTQ alumni in the year book.

Would not recommend it, it is not the best for learning.

OMS is an awesome place to be as a student, staff member, or parent. The students are tolerant of each other and accepting of differences. Most are very respectful. The staff is incredible. Highly qualified and caring teachers with a great administration. PTA is active and always doing something. The students are well monitored and activities are conducted in an orderly fashion.
