I had started to rewrite this many times. Hopefully I can keep this short and to the point, as thinking about the unprofessionalism with some of the teachers make me livid. Many occurrences that had happened to both of my kids, bullying by kids and a few teachers unfair treatment because of some behavioral issues with my son, which was being handle by a Creoks counselor that came out and was a great advocate for my son. The counselor even noticed how there were some mistreatment and stood up for him when I couldn't. I believe 3 of the teachers I have had extreme unpleasant experiences are no longer there, This was back in 2017. However, one of the teachers is still there. If you do have a kid that comes home and says concerning things about a teacher please don't take it lightly even if it something as simple as my teacher doesn't listen to me. I have seen teachers tell their students to reach out to them and then shut the kid up for trying to ask a question. that is confusing for a kid. What I have noticed is that there is more done for the kids that are already doing well or partially well. Not much for those who are really struggling or seen as a "problem". Oh and the amount of homework coming home was not ideal. *Being 20/21 school year and my kids are having zoom meetings, I have a better picture on how some teachers are talking to the kids and it is not ok that is why this review is a little late. The tone they hold with the kids are not the same with the parents, they are building distrust in the education system for some kids. I don't mind being stern or strict, but some of the teachers need to stop going on a power trip with elementary kids. My kids are currently out of peters but still within union district.

Five stars, two thumbs up, just plain awesome. I felt welcome here as a young mother which has not been good in other places before this one. My children constantly felt welcomed and cared for by the teachers, not just their own, and by PTA parents that as well! It's a fun school with a good atmosphere. My daughter dealt with some bullying in first grade, she told me about it, and the teachers took care of it quickly! My son had some big behavioral issues to work through and it felt like I had a team of experienced workers backing me up as a mother! Whatever Mrs. Weese has and is doing with her staff is really working! Thank you!

I went to this school for 3 years. From kindergarten to 2nd grade. I loved the teachers and staff. But, like every school there was bullying. I had gotten bullied in kindergarten. I told teachers and the principal but nobody did anything.

I agree with what the parents are saying about over crowding and about the teachers. The teachers are great! They work with you and keep you informed about your children. But the school is way overcrowded. My kindergartener had 25 kids in her class this year and no teacher's aid. It was too many and 4 of the kids in my daughter's class were in private tutoring (Kumon) to make up the difference.

This school is clearly struggling with over crowding. The teacher herself has even stated severly disturbing news to me, as a parent. The classroom is disorganized and the student run ramped, on the desk, under the desk.... everywhere. Homework folders are confusing, and the students do not seem like they are being lead. I am looking for a way to get my child into a different organization.

As with all schools in Oklahoma, funding is an issue. The school is currently struggling with classroom overcrowding. 23 kids in a kindergarten class with no teacher's assistant is ridiculous. Most of the teachers are good and care about their jobs.
