Great school last year, not so much this year. Some of the faculty including the principal Are condescending and out of touch. They believe in group punishment if they can't find the child that did something wrong. Then laugh about some of the punishment. Some teachers in the pick up line act like stormtroopers. Did not have my car tag one time. Even though I knew his number and am the only one to pick him up for two years they had me wait through the line then go to the office. Refused to get my child until everyone else was gone, waited thirty minutes. They told me it was "protocol". Bullying is a problem with students and staff. Listen to your children.

I was concerned that my child's reading level was low and she had not gotten any additional help. Somehow when I met with the teacher and school psychologist, his reading level jumped 5 levels.... which I highly doubt because I did not see a big improvement in that month. The teacher lied so she wouldn't have to work as hard. We transferred to another district and my child was not only a grade level behind, but qualified for speech and IEP service, which I had pushed so much at this school. They also kept putting my child on the wrong bus so I decided to start picking them up, well then they put my child in someone else's car. I pulled my child out the next day, I was tired of my concerns behind brushed off.

Beautiful school facility. Not so huge like Jenks schools. Small enough to have a family feeling where people really know and care about each other. Great staff and teachers. Wonderful well-behaved kids. Great diversity! I love that there are so many specialists for kids that need extra help in Speech, Reading, Math... Great school.

Great clean school, teachers are very involved, children are active, and parents are very much involved! I love this school for all 3 of my children.

Very less interaction between parents and teachers. No homework given to students. Not satisfied with the quality of education in this school.

My son is finishing Kindergarten at Union. His teacher, Miss Hayes, is wonderful! We have so enjoyed our experience at Jefferson, the entire school staff is amazing and they provide many services to their students and genuinely care about not just learning, but about the students as individuals. I can's say enough great things about this school!

My son has gone here since it opened. Great school! My son has an IEP there and it is always easy to get him extra help. The special teachers always communicate with me regularly and are genuinely interested in helping my son. The kids are well behaved due to the positive reinforcement of the 'Gotta' program. Friendly staff and great teachers.

The school is new and beautiful. The classrooms are fantastic for not just students but for the educators as well. Only complaint is the coach is a bully to the children and the principle doesn't seem to be motivated to do anything about it. (The principle seems pretty nice besides that. )So if your child begins to complain about the coach being mean,,,take it seriously, she really is.

We have loved being at Jefferson. This is only our second year, but our kids have had wonderful teachers, and the school itself is brand new and GORGEOUS! They have such a beautiful facility, with AMAZING rooms for art, music, science, and computer lab, as well as a great library. I have loved working with the office staff, as they are very friendly and helpful. The school building is organized in a way to make it feel small and cozy, so as not to overwhelm the younger ones. I have not one complaint for this school so far! I would like to see more parent involvement, but we are still new, so it might just be me...
