A small yet diverse school that offers students a wide variety of after school activities, sports, clubs and fundraisers. Teachers are attentive to students and their needs while faculty make their best effort to support students staff and teachers. The music and arts programs are refreshing to see and keep the children engaged. All in all a great school, my child has been very happy there. She has been attending this school since kindergarten and is now is 7th grade.

Bad. There are parts about the school that my children enjoyed, but when it comes to education-which is the most important part-they did not receive their fair share. Teachers need to receive more PD on differentiated instruction, better Reading and writing programs need to be implemented and the school needs to be consistent, most especially in middle grades and the administration has to be more on top of their teachers for the welfare of the kids. The mentality is that this is a great little town- and it is- but it's not a land of marshmallows. The scores speak for themselves. It should not be "all about the test" but with the small class sizes and amount of staff- they should not be so low. Finally, the BOE should have more of a role in the school and take interest in the educational needs of the children by taking some of the time they spend on extracurriculua interests and put more effort towards educational and curriculum interests.

The classes are small and in general the children get a lot of attention. The administration is strong and genuinely cares about the kids. If a child is gifted the school is able to allow the child to reach their potential. Great teachers. Great staff.
