Oasis Middle es una escuela de excelencia academica. Mis hijos progresaron en las distintas materials. Ademas la escuela ofrece distintas reunions para padres ademas de ofrecer acomodos y programs de de aprovechamiento academic para los estudiante.

Oasis Middle School was the best thing that ever happened to me. I am very grateful to all the Teachers and Staff for always pushing me to achieve greatness. I still remember when I was a 6th grader walking through the halls and watching so many other students tower over me. I was afraid. I was afraid that I would not fit in, afraid that I wouldn't be enough. Until I heard a soft and gentle voice. The voice of Edna Bailey, the director, who made me feel at ease. Her voice and her warmth made me feel welcomed. She told me that I didn't have to be afraid anymore. She told me that it was time to fight.Flash forward, and now I'm getting ready to go into High School. I am no longer that same scared little boy who people towered above, or that scared little boy who felt like he wouldn't fit in. I am a better me. It was all thanks to Oasis, the teachers, and most importantly, Edna Bailey.Thank you Oasis Middle School. - C

My experience with oasis middle school is really great. The teaching is great, and they will give any student as much help as they need. They will push your child further in academics, And I love that the teachers give all the students a 100%. You will definitely see a difference in your child’s studies. And last but not least! They do not tolerate bullying and I love that!

Oasis Middle School has been one of the best experiencing For my children. Teachers very concerned that their students achieve their best grades. The Principal Ms Bailey is one more Mother for the children, a great woman, she teaches with love and knows how to guide. In these 3 school years I have felt very confident in choosing Oasis as the second family for my children.

I have known Miss Bailey & some of her staff for I believe, almost 13 years now. My oldest daughter went to her school for 6th-8th. My daughter was having a few issues at her previous school, and somebody recommended Oasis middle. I have never looked back. The amount of love, care, time, effort, and respect that they put into my daughter & sons was amazing. They are like our family. I have always been a firm believer in the saying that it takes a village to raise a family, and I found that in Oasis middle. My daughter felt truly cared for, seen and heard. When my 2nd child went to Middle School, I did not know their new location- so unfortunately he missed the first couple of years with them, due to not having transportation, thinking they were still over on 1st Street. But he did get to go to 8th grade with them and I am truly grateful for that. My most recent graduate of Oasis middle, my 3rd child, he was able to attend all 3 years. Unfortunately covid made it a little bit more difficult to have in person learning for quite a while there, but they did everything in their power to support him and help him through all of that. They have always done their best to help my children learn in the way that they learn, they hold them accountable for any choices they make- that is one of the main things that I have to give alot of credit to Miss Bailey and her staff for. They teach respect for others, accountability, being honest- and in this day and age those are very important qualities to have. I appreciated the fact that they supported me and helped to teach my children those qualities for moving forward in life. If I am being honest, yes, academics are very important- but my children's character is more important to me. Because that is what will get them through life more so than anything. Having integrity, being a respectful individual, holding yourself and others accountable, having character is what I feel honestly helps people succeed in life. I cannot sing Miss Bailey and her staff's praises enough. They helped all 3 of my children become amazing humans along with me and they made sure that academically they were able to succeed. They did everything they could to make sure my children felt seen, heard and cared for. Even though the kids sometimes would give them a run for their money. :) I read one of the other reviews and I would have to agree that I wish they had a high school. I am out of space, but hopefully you get the idea.

The staff and school had been great for our family. They have gone above and beyond to help each of our kids, in the way they needed as individuals. I would highly recommend this school.

I have been sending my children to this school ever since I found out about it in 2010. I have 5 children in various ages. The teachers and the principal is phenomenal. The teachers and principal are equipped with skills that only come from having the experience of long time teaching in adequate different styles that cater towards the students learning abilities. They push students to meet their best potential and provide supplemental help and suggestions when needed. They leave a lasting impression on both the children and parents, so much that my oldest children who are now adults still reminisce on the time spent there. Small classes with skilled teachers, this is the one. I only wish they had a high school.

The staff of Oasis Middle school is simply amazing! The community that Mrs. Bailey has created in her staff and students has been a blessing to our family! Not only does the school provide high impact teachers but they also provided top notch individual care, support and guidance to both of my children. They helped lay the foundation for their educational journey. They nurtured their individual strengths, helped them better understand their educational needs and even educated them on how to navigate High school. The level of accountability Mrs. Bailey holds her staff and students to has been unmatched, in my eyes, during my parental journey. "It takes a village" and with Oasis we found our village! My children are now in high school but I know I can still reach out to them for guidance when needed. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to have been apart of this school and I recommend Oasis Middle School to every parent I meet!

I have no regrets. As my son nears closer to high school, I am trying to find a school with the same qualities as Oasis Middle School. They are not perfect. They have their challenges, but this school has been perfect for my son. Their main focus is academics. I wish there was more arts and physical education, but their focus on education, hard work, school and character development has created miracles for my son. He can always go outside and play. The quality of the work, and the social/emotional education is much more important to me. The small class sizes, the individual approach to my child's needs, the quality of communication and the LOVE that this school has for my child and his peers will have me singing their praises forever. Thank you, Oasis. You are a remarkable!

There's not enough words to describe a small school in Manatee County called Oasis Middle where the kids are really taught how to respect themselves and others, be responsible and productive members of society and taught based on their abilities. All this because the principal and teachers have a caring approach toward the parents and students.They care and listen because they really believe that every child is different. And then try to find the best way to help the child succeed . Regretfully this is impossible to find nowadays. It was the best decision to have my son pulled from a public school where kids were just labeled, forgot and left running in place. I just wish I knew earlier about this great middle school and enroll my son here as soon as he finished elementary. My respect and best wishes to Mrs. Bailey and her staff for this oasis they have built where kids are well taken care of! Thank You! from Nevila Turabi
