    A school where you call the office to be accosted because you are going to pick up the child instead of them riding a bus home. They ignore parent requests until threatening going to the district office to file complaints, even though the requests are for things that were listed in the child's IEP. I would be amazed if a school could handle a child with special needs any worse. To think the military sent me here as this was supposed to be good support for my special needs child.

    I have nothing but positive things to say about VES. Everyone that I've met at VES is amazing... You can tell that most of these folks really enjoy their job and want to make a profound impact on our kids lives. I wish my kids could have gone here from day one but unfortunately as a military family we have to travel around a lot. That's another thing though, they are so supportive and understanding of our military and the circumstances that come along with us military families. Thank you VES for all you do!
