First of I would like to say that those reviews are false. When I sent my child there from 2015-2022 he loves his school and still does and talks about it frequently. He always remembers at the school how they would have fun events, care for their safety, and just be plain nice to everyone no matter what.He would tell me stories how at his school the only way to get in trouble was by just being a pain.In conclusion take this experience with this school from someone who has actually attended this school

My child's experience has deteriorated over the past few years at this school. The other reviews are accurate and not an exaggeration. The principals and some of the teachers are condescending to parents making it a toxic atmosphere. My child and his classmates were forced to sit on the bathroom floors with their faces to the floors during earthquake drills. This is child abuse and should be investigated by the school board and made public.

My experience with this school is so poor I have considered private school. The school building itself is depressing and the principal and staff are clearly upset with their career choice.

The Principal is very rude. She will talk to you in a tone like she is very annoyed to have to deal with you. The assistant Principal is no better. It is a trickle down effect to the teachers. I feel bad for the teachers to have to work under such an unprofessional Principal. I will be doing school choice next year. I understand nowhere is perfect and every place has issues, but treat people like they are on the same level as you. You dont need to be so snotty and rude...... No room for that in a profession of a being a Principal.

Worst school we have ever attended.. will not be returning next year. Administration principal Etc are horrible. We bought our house to be in this school because of the ratings.. big mistake

Amazing school! Top notch teachers in a very progressive learning environment. Introduction of new technology keeps the kids up to date and with maximum learning potential at their fingertips. We typically move every few years for work and my biggest fear is finding a program even remotely comparable to this one. We love PVES!

Discipline is a joke. Staff is uncaring, and only there for a paycheck. Teacher communication is lacking. I expected more from a southern school. We moved from California and had more support there! The school has surpassed its capacity for two years now. Too many kids and not enough teachers. Kids are treated different if in AIMS program, if not.... if your kid is a regular kid not "gifted" then they get the left overs. Principal is rude, and staff avoid her at all costs.

Worst school my child has ever attended. Principals are rude and offer no help at all. Discipline is a joke at best. Do not suggest sending your child to this school at all.

If you have a typical child who excels on their own this school is probably great for you. If you have a child with learning disabilities be aware! I have had a negative experience so far with this school. My child has regressed since being dropped from his IEP to a 504. The 504 committe makes you feel as though you are imagining the issues with your child and I have spoken upon deaf ears in those meetings. They do not want to hear it. Meanwhile and since our last meeting I have had numerous evaluations done by several different psychologists, doctors, physical, speech and occupational therapists who say my child has learning difficulties/disabilities, diagnosis(s) and requires intense therapies. I feel like I am being ignored by Pritchardville and Beaufort Co School system. Strongly consider a different school or hire an advocate before walking into one of these meetings for your child. Not sure what I can do at this point. It has been a painful experience and year for us. Very worried for next year.

So glad we found this school, we were moving from NC to SC due to Military orders and with a child in gifted classes already, i wanted to make sure that the same standards we had in NC were available here. I looked into all the schools in the county and when I found the AMES academy I was sold, my son grew a flourished in that program and his love for science and engineering were nurtured. Mr. Johnson the staff at Pritchardville seem to have genuine concern for the student well being and their education. All the educators I have come into contact with at this school have been nothing but wonderful and helpful.

Thankful :) We are new here relocated from Hawaii and I'm so thankful for the great communication the school has provided us so far. Amazing staff working together drop off and pick up is so well organized. Makes me feel as my child is so safe. I'm truly bless for the outstanding service. As a Military family we relocate often and moving here was a big change for us. But the school has made it so welcome. The change of school always impact not only students but parents as well. And at Pritchardville we have felt that connecting from day one of Enrolling, teacher very welcome and outstanding before and after school pick up. I'm excited to see what much more this school has to offer. As military family of almost 23 years of services we are always ready for changes adapting and overcoming. We always are concern for the new changes and safety of our children. At Pritchardville your child is safe. Security system is amazing. Again big Aloha to the outstanding amazing Staff team you all have. Communication skills are awesome. We feel apart of the Pritchardville Ohana, Mahalo (thank you ) for all your hard work. Semper Fi. G Much aloha to all. Have a bless day.

We are extremly happy at Pritchardville. The AMES program is excellent and my child is excelling. No more "I'm bored"at school as in previous years in another school. The staff is caring and the administration is dedicated to students.

My sons have attended several schools over the past 6 years due to multiple relocations and this is by far the best school yet. The commitment of the principal and teachers is fabulous. They are always willing to listen to parent concerns, suggestions and other input and make adjustments as needed to improve the child's education whether the child needs additional challenge or assistance to keep up. My oldest son is part of the AMES (Advanced Mathematics Engineering and Science) Academy which is a magnet program for gifted children. This is the first time he has not come home saying he is bored with school. They really work to challenge the students - the work is project-based and hands on learning that goes beyond anything else we have seen. Students are challenged to really use critical thinking, not just get the right multiple choice answer. Students in AMES have 2 sessions each week of engineering where they get to work on projects such as robotics programming, animation, computer programming, and design / build cycles. Being an engineer myself, it is exciting to see a school that is actually preparing students to be creative and solve problems like in the real world!

An amazing school. Teachers are very dedicated to the children and have made PVES a diamond above other elementary schools in the area! The teachers and administrators share a pride in the school that really shows! Worth buying a home in this attendance area!! A must!

PVES is a great school!!!!!!!! Mr Johnson and Mrs Roulson are very professional and truly care about the students and their families. This will be our third year there and we are thrilled! PVES is also a magnet school with the AMES program in full swing.
