I love this school. My daughter is doing excellent in this school. She loves Stevenson Elementary and she's even said that this it her last year since she will be going to the junior high next year. She's gone for a A, B student to a straight A student.

Although I have really liked the teachers and staff, there are many children at this school who are not well-behaved and bully other kids. I feel there are too many kids that have little parent involvement and too many low-income housing areas that are part of this school. The school cannot be expected to control all of these kids, but they tend to split up all the well-behaved kids into different classrooms which is not fair to them. The well-behaved kids are left to fend for themselves.

This school is very lax on their attendance, saying that there is no attendance problem for a kindergartener missing 21 days of school in less than a full school year and only 5 of those for being sick, standards are low. Teachers seem nice. No concern for their students however.
