    I like the environment and the openness of the school.

    Went to parent teacher conference for my child and sat down with the teachers and they all talked shared negative details about my child to me. What I was surprised is that they didn't have a positive thing to say. When my child left the conference, he was internally crying because he didn't hear not one positive thing about him. It is ok to give constructive criticism but I truly think it has to be balanced with something positive. Everyone has something positive. The school overall is brand new and I think it has a lot of potential. I would like to see more diversity amongst the teaching and administrative staff.

    My son attended Evans this year as a new 6th grader to Evans. For this school only being open for two years, I was impressed with the organization and level of communication, etc. that occurred this year. The pod structure that they have set up works, as it creates a support system for the students. The teachers were very responsive to communication and really encouraged the kids to be indpendent, while receiving their support.
