Is the 3rd yr of my little one in this school. The first year we can’t engaged too much since that is a pandemic year. But school provides us online class and teachers are so kind to assist us a lot. Kindergarten was an off mode for us. Mostly because he principal knowing gonna be away for new y year or maybe the teachers wasn’t in good connect with parent. But I am so happy for this year , our class teacher very concerned about our kid and keep on ear to parents . Overall this is a great school for us

There is a new principal here and I thought we had a new school, not a better one.1. School supplies drop off dayNo sign there and we even hadn’t know which class my kid would be until the end of that day. I thought that was Ok on that day because there were whole hour for 3 grades, it was enough time. Actually, that was not Ok, because bigger mess came next on the first of school.2. First of schoolSame as school supplies drop off day, there were no any signs there and I didn’t know which lines should go. I saw lots of people crowded at the building door. A teacher came and said let kids entered the door by themselves and no parents allowed to the steps. I followed the instruction but no one led my kid in. I saw my little one stand between two glass door and she was uneasy and upset for a few minutes among crowed people. However, other parents who didn’t follow the instruction entered the building with their kids. I felt I was like a fool. I complained about that and a teacher told me there were lines and lots of teacher and stuffs inside. Yes, just two lines there but on one knew which line should choose; there were lots stuff there but on one led a kindergarten kid to the spot where she should go.

Both of my kids are attending this school: current 1st and 4th grade. School will add up to 5th grade next school year 2022-2023. My 4th grade son has been attending this school since K. I witness the growth of this school and I served at the PTA. I only have good words for this school. It is a brand new built school built 5 years ago. Facility is new and neat. Communication is always excellent. Teachers/ principal communicate with parents frequently via Class dojo. Teachers are quick to respond even during off hours. There is monthly zoom principal meetings. Parent coordinator is prompt to respond too. Will start to offer some G&T classes next year. This school emphasizes importance of reading. It’s trying to expand extracurricular activities. This past year they offered free after school coding, dancing, film club and arts and craft classes. Only a few of cons such as campus is small. It’s a about half a block only. No early drop off option so far.

My daughter spent the last 2 years in PS. 376 (K-1) and was very happy there. We are very satisfied with the school management, teacher/staff quality, teaching schedule/content, and the learning results that we saw from our daughter!
