A very good school with good caring teachers all the way from kindergarten to sixth grade. A lot of communication from the principal and staff. They could improve in areas of Art and Music and also options for foreign language, but otherwise it's a great place for my kid to learn and grow. It's nice to know I can fully trust my child being there.

Horrible. This school is supposed to apparently help children that are a little behind, but I feel that my daughter did not get the help she needed. After reading some reviews, I can see this is a common thing. With the pandemic this year, the students are more at a disadvantage than ever before. 3 hours of school a day (including their breaks & 30min of art, music, & pe), some days my daughter only received an hour of school… the rest was left as homework and for parents to teach. They do not take into consideration that some parents still work FULL time and we don’t have the time to do their job & have to teach the kids new things everyday. Also, the teachers are not thw best. This year my daughter has a teacher that was far from encouraging and more condescending while teaching. I could see the students (including my daughter) were afraid to answer questions because of this. Lastly, the faculty working in the office are rude & disorganized. My daughter went through 3 different teachers in this year alone because they were not prepared for the 20’-21’ school year (mind you they had all of summer 2020 to figure it out). They have also called & left messages on my daughter’s emergency contacts instead of the primary phone multiple times. I can now see why this school has such a low rating. After this school year especially, I cannot wait to take my daughter out of that school.

This is my son’s first year (kindergartener) and I could not be more happy. Year 2020 was challenging and my son’s teacher was able to teach him so much not only remote but with the limited time they have. She keeps pushing the kids and encouraging them to do their best while keeping them interested and the work fun. When I talked with other parents from different schools, most were disappointed and scared for their kids. They feel like their kids are not learning anything. My feelings are opposite- Liberty is definitely focused and dedicated to their students. Thank you!!

Our three children had a wonderful learning experience at this school.

This school has steadily become worse over the last 4 years. The best teachers have left because the school district is broke. The lack of quality teachers and administrators has left this school is disappointing. I would not be surprised to see the grade keep falling until its hit 1. This school is failing its students. The academic standards of the school are unrealistic, there is no focus on skills. This school focuses on state testing the entire school year instead of focusing on teaching its students what they need to know to be successful. If a student were to transfer to a different school, I'm sure that student would be behind academically at another school. They have no after school enrichment programs, they do not offer help to those students that may need it. They jump around subjects never focusing on rather or not that subject is mastered by its students. They also do not address bullying. My daughter and her friends have suffered. We have approached the school multiple times, but nothing has been done to address this issue.

Overall I have a great experience so far. My son is transferred from IEP program as he had issues with the speech that also constituted to Behavioral and Occupational issues, all these issues pretty much eliminated with the great structural program and also with the help of teachers at this school. My son is living proof of the progress he made in this school, keep up the great work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . My Daugther also goes to the same school and she is also doing remarkably well. My Son will be first graders and daughter would be in Pre-K, will keep this forum posted any issues that stand out.

My 3 kids attend this school. Very good school and teachers. We like Liberty Elementary. It is safety school.

I have two children at Liberty Elementary (3rd grade and kindergarten) and so I am very happy with Liberty. One exception is the teacher my son had for 2nd grade as she wasn't as strong of a teacher as I would have liked. After voicing my concerns with the principal, my issues were addressed and my son still did well overall. My son also has some learning disabilities and this school has accommodated him well.

Liberty has a great PTO and very involved parents. The teachers have been great to my children. We are sad to see Principal Burger leave, but wish him luck in his new role!

Not happy with the education my children received while at Liberty. Since my son has left, he's been thriving in his new school and has made the high honor roll each quarter.......NOT the case at all at Liberty.....Glad my children are no longer there

I feel the quality of education my children received at Liberty Elementary school was VERY poor. I also do not support Multiage (split) classrooms for young children. My child was placed in a Multiage classroom in 1st grade (half first grader and half second graders). The pace of the class was much quicker than the straight first grade class and the work was the same my son did in second grade..............my child greatly struggled in that class

Sometimes people get up on the wrong side of the bed (as they say), and sometimes they're just having a bad day, but I think hospitality training might be in order for some of the office staff at Liberty school. One staff person, in particular, made me feel so unwelcome as a prospective parent that I was immediately persuaded to look elsewhere. This person's attitude made my decision very easy - thanks.
