This is the only school that stands up for the bullys, it's incredible how they disregard the weak and defend the strong !!! Academically well my granddaughter was a A student above average in state testing first year at this school she's failing, this place is a law suit for sure !!! Unfortunately if u live in this schools district u can't go anywhere else except for private . It's a shame Bartlett is a beautiful town but schools are horrible and discriminating . Think twice before deciding to move here if u have children , wish I did my homework before moving here. I'm from addison and raised my kids in bloomingdale my kids would always say bartlett kids are not good I couldn't understand it then but I definitely know now what they meant, pretty sure it's the schools that did that.

It's an incredibly, frustrating school to have your kids attend. Only tests count towards grades. You can turn in every assignment, and still fail, or turn in nothing and still get an A. I even specifically asked the the math teacher. "So my child can literally never show up for class, never turn in a single assignment, never do the homework, get an A on the test and get an A in your class?" She answered yes. Leadership just doesn't care. They will ghost you. Incredibly unprofessional, and only care about the fundraising. They give a huge speech about caring for their students. They don't. A kid (8th grader) literally flipped over a table because he was told he couldn't go outside on a nice day, and then got to go outside after the outburst. They banned water bottles because they couldn't control the kids from spilling the water everywhere. My child had only 3 decent teachers and 2 are leaving at the end of the school year. While terrible teachers stay for decades. A science teacher literally just hand kids assignments sheets and tells them to watch video links. No actual instruction occurs. Spoke with the speech therapist onsite about assessing my daughter, that never happened. I have nothing positive about this school, and cannot wait till she's done with it.

this school absolutely sucks. as a student who attends this school i can confirm that nobody takes care there and bugs everywhere no matter what i do or where i am and it is absolutely disgusting. i am ashamed to say i go to to east view not to mention the teachers who don’t care about you or any other there students. they only care about there pay and enjoy putting others down. this school is disgusting in every way i wish i never went there.

This school is amazing! I love this school and the teachers are very nice. They help you if you need help, you just have to email! They are so kind to one another. Mrs. Gerovac (math teacher) is very kind, and help you with anything you have trouble with. She is so kind, caring, and she makes a wonderful teacher. All my teachers have office hours and they help you during then. You can retake tests, you can ask teachers for help and they help you, and we work together as groups and interact with one another. I fully recommend this school, this is the best school I ever went to. Everything is amazing here. Including the teachers/staff.

there is a lot of fights during the school hours. too much drama is being spread through out the school both 7th and 8th graders. teachers dress code only certain girls. no boys get dress coded. some girls wear shirts wear you can see their shoulders and they don't get dress coded cause that is in the rule book. if other girls wear it they get dress coded. some teachers yell so loud you can hear them down the hall. teachers chew gum and blow bubbles yet students aren't allowed to have gum AT ALL. teachers also have their phones out and on them while students aren't allowed to have them out of on at all either. teachers don't grade right. this causing some students to fail. the school it's self is not the best but how should i know. im only a student. also the school is very strict. we aren't allowed to listen to music off youtube or online.

Although the teachers here are amazing, the administration is horrible. The assistant principal and principal tolerate bullying and have no consequences for the bully. My child had to go to the hospital and they still let the bully go with a simple 'talking to'. It's sad because academic wise, they are very strong.
