Not fun, not educational they don't do enough for the students. No good field trips 1 the whole year they went to a local high school play, the end. Very boring place far as learning; even a fail for sports day the kids did not enjoy that they said it. Don't give me this disadvantage excuse as to why they could be falling behind, this is sad. If the teachers are so 90% experienced and 100% certified at Mars Estate it should rub off on the students or they should have higher scores. I see high potential in the children I have sat in the classrooms a lot it`s not the kids. I have basically home schooled my daughter. No credit for her excellency at all has came from this school (since grade 1 -3 derail attempt from what she was learning; now pre k- kindergarten is like a different school blue ribbon like but it wasn`t in 2013- 2014, they do a good job educating in pre-k -kindergarten. I will give them credit where it is due. They have great office ladies 2 blondes I think go beyond their job also) they have if anything else since grade 1 is they have and I believe this strongly (the teachers) have attempted to derailed my high value, within every guideline and strong education process. So I`ve been sending her to school by law but I'm doing the educating part she self taught God definitely helped I had to pray. God did it. I wish that school the best!

I would not rate this school at all. This is our first and last year at this school. They need more teachers of color. Lets start there. They need to update there web page. Find better educational trips. Like to the AAHM ! Science center! Not learning to hand dance. Get a real Spanish teacher. The students at this school need to see all types of people of color teaching. Not just cleaning your school or helping with games at the front of the school. They need to know there are teachers that are Black, Asian, and, Spanish. Not happy about this school or the area at all.

Mars Estates is a great school! My son attended PK3-5th grade; my daughter PK3-3rd grade (we moved, or she would still be there). This school stands out because of the teachers! They all go the extra mile to make sure that our children are getting all that they can out of their education. The only reason that I didn't give Mars Estates 5 stars is because there are not a lot of activities for the students (after school sports, dances, clubs, etc.), which I feel is also important for morale. Keep up the good work, Mars Estates!
