We absolutely love Lake Pointe! We have three children attending this school currently and we have had a wonderful experience here so far. Each of our kids have had excellent and caring teachers. The PTO is fantastic and there are lots of opportunities for families to gather and build friendships. We feel lucky to live in this neighborhood and go to this school.

We live in the area and have 2 kids in Lake Pointe. This school is a one in a million type. Great community that is active with regular events. Really great school!

No my l.o. was bullied at this school by teachers and students. Nothing was done. Absolute garbage fire of a school.

The school administration, staff and teachers go above and beyond to make sure the kids excel. It has been an amazing experience for all of my kids and exceeds a few private schools we attended and/or toured.

Moved here after being in both Dallas and Milwaukee. Milwaukee had bad schools, Dallas (Richardson) had great schools. This school has beyond exceeded our expectations. The teachers, the staff, the parents are all so committed and involved. We have loved the school and it's commitment to our kids.

Academically this school is great, as are many of the teachers. Unfortunately there are some bigoted teachers who claim to welcome all but in reality are biased against all but the WASP children/families. Racism and xenophobia rule amongst the few! Office staff when we visited this prospective school were very unfriendly. I understand that arriving at the exact time for an appointment is optimal, but to be subjected to eye rolling, pen throwing, and general anger for being a five minutes EARLY is unacceptable. Be professional! Sadly these are our memories of Lake Pointe. Our children will not be attending despite the school's academic successes. Life is about more than a grade on a piece of paper.

We have been proud parents of two (son and daughter) LPE students for the last 8 years. This is truly a great neighborhood school with excellent parent and community support. The outstanding school staff, parent involvement and community support combine to make this one of the best elementary schools in Austin.
