This school is a complete nightmare.No one cares about raising Muslim children.It’s all about let’s get these kids to obey.Young children are frequently sent to the principal office and left there.Parents are too scared to complain.Apparently there is no choice.Well APA is a the only Muslim school.Your child will not learn anything here apart from fear.When it’s time to donate they will drive you quiet mad with all the texts messages and emails.This is not a school that is conducive to learning for young children.Teachers are overworked and leave the school whenever they want to.The PTA is a joke and the dean of the school has a bad attitude.

This school has unqualified people with no experience at all. Teachers leave the school all the time and other teachers are just used to fill in for the other subjects. There is no care towards the kids and the struggles the parents have to go through just to get what the admin wants as the administration have banned hoods on jackets and even the smallest logo on the jacket isn't allowed which is just absurd. They have no transparency and have no consideration towards parents like myself. There have been countless problems within the school in elementary as well as middle and highschool. My son in elementary is constantly telling me how lots of the students that attend this school dislike and hate how everything is stressful and all the teachers having no care what so ever. A students time during their young childhood school days should all be to enjoy life for it could end at any moment. I don't want my child to be in this so called Islamic school if it is the same as any public school. I sent my child here to be safe from all the inappropriate things in the world but instead he got wrapped around in it while attending this school.

Warm and friendly school with caring dedicated teachers. My kids are happy. The teachers are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's a great place to send your children.

Transfer to a new city for teenagers can be overwhelming no matter what school they are in. We transferred 2 years ago and it was at the peak of the pandemic which was a bit tough but at Austin Peace Academy the environment was welcoming and made the transition easier than I expected. Though the academics are a bit challenging they finally picked up.

Two of my children have graduated and one more to go. We have been with the school for 8 years like any school it will have its challenges.

Awesome!! Our experience has been fruitful. The programs they offer such as the retreat camps for our children are exceptional. They prepare the students well for competitions.

Very Nice!! The school has been an amazing place for my daughters though we had to move the girls still talk about Austin Peace Academy and how they wish they could be back. Principal Diana Abdi had a great impact on our girls and we are forever in debt to her.

This school has created a great environment for my children both academically and culturally. This was their first year in the school and they love it and have friends that are well behaved which we were looking for. I plan to keep them their until they graduate.

The level of commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated by APA teachers is clearly evident from the equal enthusiasm of APA students. My daughters love the basketball team activity, MIST activity and other volunteer opportunities.The school has a great college prep program. College acceptance rate for APA students is the best example that shows how effective the program is. My daughter was accepted in UT. She is still volunteering at APA to show her gratefulness.

My daughters are in their second year at Austin Peace Academy, and it's been a fantastic experience for our whole family. They have always been good students, but they were bored and unhappy with the institutional, one-size-fits-all education in the charter school. They are flourishing at Austin Peace Academy and love it. They call it their second home. Teachers and students have been warm, sincere relationships, and teachers are allowed room to be creative and to change things up based on their students' needs. Also, the feeling of community among students, teachers, staff, and parents is phenomenal. Students are appreciated for their uniqueness and are nurtured, both academically and emotionally. Austin Peace Academy really does deliver the total package of academic strength combined with focus on the social and emotional needs of middle and high school students. I am thankful that we have Austin Peace Academy. It goes without saying they have a fantastic administration from the Principal , Head of Academics and Director of operation.

Austin Peace Academy is an excellent school . Most importantly the administration and staff are very nice. Kids develop high critical thinking in all subjects including Islamic studies . My daughter graduated from high school 2 years ago and they did a fantastic job to prepare her for college. I couldn't ask for more. The principal really cares about the well being of the kids but more at the high school level where a lot of guidance is done by the Principal. The curriculum overall is challenging and they do prepare your kids from an early age. I have one more daughter who is now in high school.I would recommend Austin Peace Academy to anyone.

I have been to APA since kindergarten and I am proud to say that it is an amazing school Alhamdulilah. There is a one-on-one connection between the teachers and students, and they are always willing to help each student individually- if need be. Academically, APA has constantly been improving and will continue to do so inshaAllah. Extracurricular wise, they are providing many more opportunities to the students. These options range from 'science madness' and 'health' class to 'children's literature' and 'art'. The school does its best to meet the needs and interests of every individual student. I can say that my experience here has been pleasant and would, without a doubt, advise parents to bring their children to APA. Especially if you want to focus on their Islamic education, APA is the place to go in Austin.

Austin Peace Academy is a great school to send your child to. The academics are strong and exceed public school levels. Students enjoy the great activities that are provided to them. Many are exposed to opportunities that help them transition and adjust to college life.

I've been to APA all my life and its a great school! Great teachers and great staff. It teaches you about Islam very well and you have great connections with all the students. Our school is very competitive and hard. My older siblings already graduated from APA and are in UT.

APA has always been a homely-type of school. You feel comfortable there [sometimes a bit too much! =)] The teacher don't act stiff and hostile to the students, they are comfortable with them and engage in friendly conversation at the end of class at times :) There hasn't been any cases of serious bullying, because how can you when you're friendly with just about everyone at the school? I'm honestly very, very happy that APA was established in Austin. Now. I haven't gotten to the education part yet so here goes. My daughter has been at this school for a long time. Never once had I heard her complaining about mean kids, or crying over something school-related. But, I have to think about her future. Now, I know APA has been teaching her well. There are out of school competition results that prove that =). But in all honesty, when I compare the high school curriculum to that of other schools, I see what is lacking. As much as I hated to do it, I had to remove her and change schools for high school. So basically, up until middle school, the curriculum is up-top. But I ask you to consider whether or not you will put them in high school, that is all. Still, I support APA all the way.

Austin Peace Academy is good at providing kids with an islamic environment such as teaching Quran, Arabic....etc (Arabic curricula are not organized enough). SO IF YOU WANT AN ISLAMIC ENVIRONMENT, YOUR CHOICE IS APA. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR EXCELLENT ACHIEVEMENT IN SCIENCE AND MATH, YOU MIGHT RETHINK.

My children had studied at Austin Peace Academy for a year, but they did not like the school. when I traveled to another state, I found that my childrens' achievement were very low compared to other students who came from even public schools, so the school should be improved by using modern methods and more facilities .

APA has been home to my two kids for the past 6 years. I have been very happy with the school and with my kids' performance at the school. The small size of the student/faculty body makes it feel like home. Everyone knows everyone, which for me, is a good thing. Nobody is allowed to slip through the cracks. I love that my kids are getting a first rate secular education but more importantly, they are getting this education in an Islamic environment. Having a strong moral character is emphasized at this exemplary Islamic school.

Austin Peace Academy is a quality Islamic school. The leadership and teachers at APA have a passion for education and character-building that you won't find in many schools. The school follows the guidelines set out by the Texas Education Agency, but because it is a private school, teachers are free to teach the curriculum to their group of students' needs, not to the test. Overall, APA provides quality education in both the traditional academic areas as well as Islamic Studies and Arabic; and does so in a loving, character-driven manner.

As a teacher, small class sizes allow me to get to know each child and teach to their interests, draw out their strengths, and challenge them to excel. APA is a place where each child is able to feel valued and nurtured. Teachers are passionate about their subject areas, and they also care about their students and want to see them succeed. In addition to challenging students academically, APA provides an Islamic environment where students and teachers can cultivate their deen and broaden their understanding of Islam. It's truly a blessing for me to work in an environment where Islam is the norm. I am constantly inspired by the character of my students.
