Fell like it is a gem of a local school with a talented staff and caring administration. My only issue has been, like the parent below, the "timely and respectful" communication of the staff. All 3 I have directly reached out to have been defensive, and unnecessarily so. Only with 1 was I able to come to some sort of resolution. Follow up with admin and staff have not lead the other 2 educators to any clear change in tone, or to account for the assumptions they have made. So great place for kids. A difficult school for parents to navigate.

Wonderful. This school has improved SO much in the last few years! I love the teachers and the principal.

If I could rate them a 0 I would because they really have no clue how to make sure everyone is satisfied not just the teachers!!

My kid loves this school. The teachers are great and the staff is on top of things. I feel like the school is a great asset to the neighborhood.

This is the worst school my son has attended. The kids are not challenging at all. When my son was in kindergarten he used to add two digits numbers, when he went to lansing in first grade he just got stuck. For more than a year he never saw an addition more complicated than 9+5 he was bored at school.

the only thing i like about the school is the teachers. my child and i have to walk 4 miles total there and back we need a bus. And i feel that the staff needs attitude adjustments. I really dont like how they communicate with the children or the parents.

Needs leadership, teamwork, new facilities and a licensed assistant principal. If you have other options in APS for you kids, please, seek them out. There are dedicated teachers here that are overwhelmed by the lack of leadership and the disciplinary issues that occur hourly.
