This is from having both my kids go through this school for 3 years. While my older went through this school during COVID when school was remote, my younger one is currently studying in this school. The new building is exceptional, the playgrounds are nice. The stark difference comes with how the teachers my kid had till date are. Every single time I have mentioned my kid's learning ways and the weak and strong points and what kind of learning atmosphere my kid needs, the kid never got a teacher who wants to make sure my kid is motivated to learn the subject that is not the kids strong suite. Instead the kid is losing motivation, because I have seen how much at home the work is being put in and instead of being patient with the kid the teacher gives criticism in the humiliating way or passive aggressive way. This kid wants to impress the teacher and if the teacher was non-discriminatory and empathetic towards the kid's learning methods, maybe my kid would have felt like even give a hug to the teacher when this teacher returned from a brief leave. My kid is usually the one who has above par emotional intelligence and hearing "I don't want to hug (Ms.So and so teacher) when she returns because she is mean and might even say my hug is bad" confirms that some of the teachers at this school need emotional maturity training even after they have been there as teachers forever.

Building and grounds neglected; poor awareness/unresponsiveness to conditions by administration (obscenities written on playground equipment rtemains there for years now, trash all over the campus that rarely gets picked up,) Bullying is a problem but principals never admit it (last two principals anyone...the one befor got promoted); the kid who gets bullied is sent for psych counselling and the perpertrator goes un-punished. Erratic/fragmented approach to program concepts; to much emphasis on "woke" ideology. Frankly don't see how my kids are going to get through high school unless a miracle happens in middle school...no fault of my kids. They don't emphasize literacy much..."spell it your way" seems the way they are taught to spell!

Great school. Team oriented teaching is exceptional and provides students with a variety of learning models regardless of subject.

My girl is doing great at the school. So far I see strong leadership and very good teachers.
