Generally strong but there is room for improvement in teacher quality. Very supportive admin staff for student and parental concerns.

Legacy is a wonderful school. They have a great team of educators and an excellent special education program. We’ve felt very supported throughout our 4 years there and our children love going to school every day.

Excellent school. Newer building with good funding. Organized and clean.

I've had 3 kids at Legacy over the last 7-years and we've been very happy there. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and the teachers care about their students' success. In our neighborhood, where the majority of residents hold bachelors and graduate degrees, students are expected to behave, have manners, and do their absolute best in their schoolwork. Parent involvement is high. These are great kids and I'd strongly recommend Legacy ES to anyone.

Legacy is located in a well to do area however don't let the area fool you. Educationally the school is ok. However, the school needs more minorities as it is unequally balanced. There are children that are bullies and parents are as well, especially if their child isn't performing on the same level as higher performing students. Rumors, back biting, exclusion from events exists heavily. Communication between teacher and parents are poor and needs improvement. We are supportive that the teachers handle issues such as bullying that's why the rate of the school 3 stars.

Both of our children went to this school and they both had a great experience. The school is very well managed.

We have two boys in this school and could not be happier with the dedication and support the staff show at every turn. The sense of community is carried through in the school and the principal is approachable and very open to suggestions/recommendations. When the PTO was in danger of not having a president this year he reached out personally to the parents to fill the position. Yes, the school is over-crowded and our oldest has struggled, but his teacher has communicated every step of the way and the support we have received has been outstanding. The staff has come up with creative ways to help both of our children learn and I am particularly impressed with the different levels of teaching material offered based on individual student ability. Brambleton is very fortunate to have such a wonderful school.

I love this school. There is a strong emphasis for parental involvement by volunteering. The principal is ever present throughout the school, not sitting behind the desk all day. He knows the kids and the kids know him. He is highly regarded throughout the county and it shows in his staff. The only downside is that it is currently the largest elementary school in the county with grade overflow every year. But, that is due to the tremendous amount of community growth in the Brambleton area. The school still manages to run efficiently and effectively. I can only say positive things about Legacy ES.
