Two of my sons have attended Moore and have had some absolutely incredible teachers, who have inspired them to be enthusiastic and curious about learning. Once, we were dealing with an emotional issue at home, and I contacted a counselor who got right back to me and was an immense help to my son the next day at school--just what he needed. They both also really enjoyed the cross country, track team.

My daughter went to Moore for 7th and 8th grade and grew both emotionally and educationally. She's never had an issues that I had to become involved with.

I have been blown away with the excitement my child has for all of her classes and what she is learning. The teachers are amazing often going above and beyond.

The principal is very approachable, and like all schools there are a few high-quality teachers . Other than that, I have not a single positive thing to say about the five years my sons spent here.. It was the biggest mistake not to transfer them. Admin and front office staff perpetually pissed off and rude. The rigor in this school is desperately lacking. My children consistently reported that the teacher spoke for about 5-10 minutes, and gave them about 10 -20 minutes of work, and then after that they had nothing to do for the rest of the block. Even electives are pathetic - the band teacher was the worst. He too lazy to teach so he showed G cartoon movies and forced the kids to watch after playing for 15 minutes on a regular basis. He actually yelled at my son for trying to do homework, and told him to stop working and watch the movie. And now he’s teaching at the local high school. Teachers yelled at my GT kid for playing online chess when he finished their work they planned for the entire period in 10-20 minutes. Apparently it’s a crime to be a good student and efficient in this school. Bullying by teachers and students is a constant reality. This place is bad for your child’s academic, mental health and social development. Even the building itself has an unfriendly and uncaring atmosphere. Special events had a particularly non-joyful undertone. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Very unhealthy place to be.

Just plain awful. This school doesn't want to help their students, just the staff.

This school was absolutely terrible. The kids were plain out rude and ignorant and has a HIGH percentage of bullying. Although the teachers claim they handle this very seriously.. My daughter has noticed several of her peers who were constantly picked on. It's as if the teachers don't care at all. I would NEVER let my child attend here again.
