This school has been absolutely amazing. My oldest just spent the last 6 years there and with 2 other kids we will happily be at Little for another 6 years. The staff are all wonderful human beings who truly care about my children. They challenge my children academically when needed, while also offering guidance in areas they may struggle with. More importantly, the staff care for my children's mental health and emotional well being. The personal touches like encouraging notes actually mailed to our house make my kids feel special and seen. Their mental health team is extensive. I know my children are well taken care of. The classrooms offer hands on learning like programing robots, historical reenactments, and arts integration. The teachers will often use the school garden for lessons in science. The best part of this school is the sense of belonging and community. The school is welcoming to all people and strives for inclusivity. The support the parents have for the staff and visa versa is like nothing I have seen at any other school. The amount of care the school has for the surrounding neighborhood and community is unmatched. This school is a hidden gem and deserves as much love as it gives out.

We have found our home at Little. We love the smaller class sizes, the diverse student body and inclusive learning environment shaped by caring, intentional teachers and staff. Our children are comfortable, yet challenged in this community. They have grown so much as learners and leaders, and are making life-long friends along the way. Little Elementary truly is a hidden neighborhood gem!

He is in first grade and it is nice to say them at both had the Same 1st grade teacher. Mrs Martin is great with the kids and really all the teachers care. Proud to be a part of the community.

Wrapping up our 4th school year at Little Elementary. We have had such a positive experience at this school. The teachers are wonderful, all the staff is welcoming, and we have found the principal to be very responsive and supportive. We couldn’t ask for a better school for our kids to grow up in.

We have been at Little for 4 years now. Little is a hidden gem and an amazing community school. Building community and student success is at the forefront of what Little is about. They have several community groups including Little Sprouts Community Garden, Little JEDI (family led justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion), and PTSA. These groups work closely with the school, families and students to create meaningful experiences such as the 5th grade run farmers market, outdoor classroom in the garden, winter celebration, outdoor movie nights, trunk or treat, and chili cook-off and celebration with local police officers. Little teachers are amazing. My kiddo's are all over the place academically and have each had their needs met where they are at. I have seen so much improvement with each of them. Teachers at Little care about making sure each student feels safe and included. Restorative Justice practices has made discipline at Little a learning tool for students. My kids are learning to express their feelings and work through problems with their peers and teachers and to take responsibility for their actions. PBIS (Positive Behavioral interventions and supports) is used at Little. Kindness, Respect, and Responsibility are the 3 main characteristics that Little students are practicing. Teachers and Staff model and integrate these 3 characteristics through out the day and recognize students who demonstrate them! If you're new to Lake Arbor or surrounding areas, Little is a great school and your kids can do amazing things here! If you're interested in finding out more about Little check out their website and give the school a call!

little has a severe bullying problem. The school does not know how to fix it either. Little puts kids in in school suspension with children 3 grades lower then there in. so degrading for our children that the school teaches them that is how they deal with their issues by putting them with smaller children in order to discipline. The school has a new principal and nothing has gotten better. The teachers speak down to our children then tell us it was said kindly instead.

10. Ive had kids at this school for 10 years and it's awesome. Don't let the fake test scores listed above discourage you. My kids are all achieving above standard. Little is a great school. V

Overall we have been pleased with the teachers and equity to push our intelligent and hard working girls. The school definitely has some challenges with a high free and reduced lunch population but the staff is truly dedicated to serving every child.

The teachers and staff at Little are amazing! They work so hard to provide lots of great opportunities for the students. Mr. Lopez is a fantastic principal and leader. He listens to the voice of the parents and had created a welcoming environment for all children. The teachers are providing the students with critical thinking strategies that will allow them to succeed in life and empower them to be leaders.

The teachers and staff are wonderful. They have a lot of hands on learning, including the community garden and arts. The parental involvement and support is amazing. There is a real sense of community. I love the fact they have full time specials teachers even for the Kindergartners.

Our 3rd grader has attended Little since kindergarten, and we've had great experiences in each grade. The teachers are given significant leeway to customize learning plans to fit student needs. The school effectively communicates and collaborates with parents. There is significant community involvement in school-related activities. I feel that our daughter has received a quality education at this school.

I have three kids that go to Little Elementary and it's an excellent school. The Principal, Mr. Lopez, and teachers all work very hard to ensure that every kid in the school is pushed to their fullest potential. We also have a great PTSA working for our kids and our school. I would highly recommend Little to anyone looking for a successful, small, neighborhood school.

I have 3 boys that started Little this school year. We came from Texas. The staff and teachers have been more then friendly and out going to make sure they felt welcomed. Principal Lopez even came out and introduced himself to my boys and myself. I am pleased with the school.

My daughter was a student at this school and we had numerous issues with her 6th grade teacher. She has multiple disabilities and was told by this teacher that people with disabilities are not functional in society. If your child has special needs, this is not the place for them! The teacher did not meet her needs and administration was not helpful - they supported the teacher. Lucky my daughter didn't listen to her and we found a better school where she thrived with teachers that cared with a better attitude about people with disabilities. Currently she is a successful honors college student, no thanks to this teacher and her negative comments.
