Have had two children (6 years apart) attend this school, and they are so welcoming and inclusive to all - race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or neurodivergence. They have one of the ASD centers of Jeffco, and all staff are just more understanding of neurodivergent children, whether they are in the ASD program or not. They also have a school psychologist and a Social Emotional Learning specialist, and the children regularly engage in social emotional learning. There are events and meetings to help bring the community together as well. The normal PTA meetings, but also school accountability meetings where parents and principle/staff can talk. There are monthly coffee community meetings, where they teach us about a certain topic - such as safe technology, assessments, neurodiversity. I just love how supportive they've been of my kids. As far as discipline/bullying I've only had a couple instances that were taken care of very fast. Example is one time my older son was thrown down and scraped up by an angry friend and it was taken very seriously. Afterwards they even included a group friend discussion and helped my son and his friend work through the upset, and continued to monitor - nothing more ever happened, I really think helping them work through the problems was key.

I’ve had kiddos at this school for several years now and it had been wonderful until the 22-23 school year when there was an administration change. Now there are harsh consequences for any actions, lack of support for students and families and parents have been excluded a great deal from the school. No longer a welcoming environment and it makes me nervous not having parent interaction with events and classes and teachers the way it was before. This school year didn’t even allow a meet and greet before school began. Seems to be many changes to keep parents uninvolved and out of the classrooms and school environment. Pick a different school that welcomes and encourages parental involvement.

Adams elementary school's only saving grace is the compassionate and caring teachers that work there. It is made CLEAR by the administration, and the district that teacher safety as well as student safety are of the lowest priority. It is appalling, disheartening, and callous how District 11 handles safety for its employees and students. Teachers at Adams are threatened, struck, and afraid daily because they know there simply is no support. Until a Teacher is stabbed or shot, they will not lift a finger to protect their employees. As a result, I cannot recommend this school. If you value the safety of your child, and the treatment of teachers you leave your children with, invest in other communities and districts. After years of support, I can say this place is officially hopeless.

In my opinion, this school has an advancement for kids with disabilities and helps kids in need and helps them step by step this is a great school.

This school use to be great but there is new administration and it seems like they frankly don’t care anymore. Concerns use to be handled almost immediately and now you hear crickets. If your child is struggling they provide zero supports for them. We will Definitely be looking into other schools for next year.

The teachers are disconnected from the students and parents. This school teaches common core and is overloaded and understaffed, leading to my children coming home crying with loads of homework. The teachers seem as though they are never there, it's always a different substitute teaching the lessons. If your child has a slight cough you are called and expected to pick up your child right away. However, when a child in a classroom has visible markings and lesions such as Hand Foot and Mouth Disease nothing is done. Worst of all, the principle is non confrontational and it shows when it comes to putting an stop to bullying. Just so everyone is on the same page, I have more than one child that attends this school, so it is multiple classrooms. -a parent

Children who are advanced learners are very well served in this school. It is amazing to see how involved the parent community is at Adams. I HIGHLY recommend this school. Love the principal and how well the teachers work together. My child attended PreK - 6th (2014)

The preschool program is wonderful,my son who has a speech disorder and is very hard to understand and is also very shy has done amazing,His speech has improved greatly and the teachers really seem to love and care about him.I was very concerned about him being away from me for 2.5 hrs a day with his lack of speech but they have gone out of their way to make sure we are both happy.

This school was ok, if your child is adhd/add in anyway the teachers dont seem to take the time with your child, they automatically assume your child is a bad kid and aren't very patient at all. Maybe if they had special classes for kids who need a little more one on one time things would have been better but unfortunatly they don't.

Beware of this school if your child is out of the ordinary in any way. It's probably perfectly fine for most kids, but the support services and accomodations are lacking even for typical children who need extra help. We moved our child after 2nd grade and are so happy that we made that choice.
