The school seems to teach for the statewide test that are given. My daughter had lessons on the same topics for months at a time. The Leadership is there to say no more than to help the kids grow. There is not a real sense of community. Through online learning during the pandemic it as obvious teachers were not teaching. Her teacher meet with the students for a short time and then assigned them graded homework that it was up to the parents to teach and help the student with. Bottom line before the pandemic and after the pandemic, the school seems more interested in their ranking than actually teaching the students for the long term and providing a strong foundation for them to succeed in a highly ranked university.

Great school! We moved to the area for the schools and have not been disappointed. My son has liked his teachers and even through the pandemic the online education was good. Teachers are caring and do great work.

We have loved this school and my kids are sad that we have to move. The teachers and staff have been great, they take the time to get to know my kids and help them with whatever they need.

My child has had issues with bullies at this school. Principal denies that kids bully in her school. The bullied child is perceiving things wrong, my child hates this school, lost trust in this school and both if us cannot wait for the day that my child never has to step foot in this school again. Other parents have told me they have been through the same kind of problems and the principal tells them the same thing. It gets turned around on the bullied child and the parents instead of addressing the real problem.

I have been disappointed with this school on a number of levels. No voluntary reading program, poor follow through with the information for grade levels and specials on blackboard, hard to contact part-time specials teachers.I don't feel my son has been challenged much at this school.
