Sunkist elem. We moved into SE Anaheim and choose Sunkist As the school to send our 2 kids. The teachers will communicate with the parents on a regular basis, the curriculum does follow California guidelines and the principal is very active with the school. I do volunteer work for my sons preschool thru 2nd grade without issues and helped with my daughters 5th grade class for a science week demonstration. the school sponsors 2 family movie nights each year and the turn out has been big. the school is kept in great condition for it age. I've been happy to talk to the front office staff and glad I found a good school for my kids to go to.

I had one of my children attend this school while another is still attending. Their experience in this school was good for my oldest, until he attended his 6th grade year, because every time I would come to his school to pick him up, I would find his class outside playing instead of studying for their CST's. My child applied for Oxford Academy and was accepted to take the test along with his other pupils in his class. However, none of the student's made it into the academy along with the smartest student in the school. My experience now with my youngest is inadequate. The gate teacher is getting older and is having less patience with her students. This is also from having her class being a combo, having two grades at once in her class. Instead of having two classes in one in a Gate Class, they should have it separate for the student's to have a better learning experience. My child is now going to change schools and transfer for him to continue his learning experience. I know this is going to affect my child dramatically, however his learning comes first. Best teacher out of the whole school is Miss Delehoy who really cares for her students and their learning.

This school truly needs work they need people that care and love kids to work there..from my own personal experience with my daughter (that is in K-grade)my daughter an I dislike the staff mostly because they think they have the right to scream at the children. They also have "favorites" and completely blow off other kids they are not fond off..the staff and teachers and even the principal have absolutely no idea what they are suppose to be doing when it comes to teaching children how to do anything!!!

My kids had been there since Kinder to 6th grade. The school is nice & clean all the time. All the staff are very friendly. Teachers are excellent!! They are always willing to help or give you advice on students academic. Parents volunteers are always welcome. There are award assemblies to encourage the kids to work hard. And also ESL classes for parents. I hope they can become a single track school soon!
