We were very excited when this school reopened the year our child was supposed to start school. Prek through kinder teachers were amazing but then when we got to 1st grade, the support needed drastically diminished. There were multiple death threats made against our child and not one administrator took it seriously and they did nothing to help her social emotional well being. I think they thought we were parents that did not care or know the school system. They lied to us, they tried to keep things from us. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. I also attended learning link here with my youngest and observed how they prompt the special ed kids and it’s horrible. No one seems to be qualified in what they do there except a few teachers and workers.

My older daughter started here after they rebuilt the school during the pandemic. My youngest now attends as well. I was worried about the ratings, but we’ve been nothing but thrilled with the education they’re getting. All of the staff are caring and kind, and the teachers we’ve had so far have been fabulous. The music program is one of the best I’ve ever seen in the area. Students learn to play 6 instruments in 5th grade, and in 3rd they learned ukelele and recorder. The new principal, Dr. Kim seems very nice as well. My older daughter flourished in Ms. Radovich’s GATE combo class last year and her test scores were fantastic. We’re excited to see what the rest of our time at this school brings but we’ve been nothing but pleased with our experiences so far.

My Daughters school has been a very good experience. The teachers put in every effort to making sure the kids are learning what they need to be. They give parents many updates on how the child is doing in class and what needs to be improved. They also give tools necessary for child to study at home. As far as safety they are good at waiting with the child as each parent picks up otherwise the child waits in the office. If they hear of anything unusual they contact parents with information needed. Parents need to take just as much action as the teacher for the student to thrive in school.

At first I was wary about my son going to this school. As a parent of course we want the best for our children. After experiencing Kindergarten here, I knew my son was in great hands. The teachers are very involved and have had a wonderful influence on my son. Specifically Mrs. Beard, Mrs. Eiffert, Mrs. Cadiente and now Mr. Kelly. My son has had the opportunity to advance his education to the GATE program. Mrs. Peregrina has also showed to be a very strong leader for this school.
