Zion has been my home for the last 13 years. The last of my four kids is entering junior high @ Zion next year (she started zion preschool age 2). Teachers at Zion have a vested interested in all students. They ensure academic success, spiritual growth and character development. The before and after school care is convenient for working parents. After school sports provides an opportunity for all students at any skill level to participate in organized sports. Zion was proud to receive the sportmanship award for 2018 voted on by fellow lutheran schools. Great accomplishment that speaks to the camaraderie and kindness that surrounds students, teachers and staff.

All three of my children attended Zion from pre-school thru 8th Grade. Zion offers an excellent Christ centered education with small class sizes and incredible, loving teachers, great sports programs and after school care. They graduated Zion well prepared for Honors level high school classes. What's more is that they graduated with servant hearts that have stayed with them through high school and beyond. I couldn't have asked for a better Christian foundation for them

Zion is AMAZING! Zion is a positive, student-centered learning environment where all students are inspired to do their best. Being a public educator with our focus on ELA and Math, I love how Zion engages students in extra curricular areas as well. My sons create art, play after school sports, participate in band, have daily opportunities for science and and social students, as well as go on fun field trips. I love Zion Lutheran School!!

I attended Zion Lutheran School from the 2 year old class until 8th grade. I created a strong bond with my classmates and we are still in contact today. We even had a 10-year reunion to catch up with everyone from our graduating class. Zion is much more than a school, but a Christian family that supports each other in all aspects of life. I hope to one day send my future children to this school.

Zion is a wonderful faith based learning institution. There are so many great aspects of the school, I will only list a few. The leadership communicates effectively with the parents which is rare. The teachers in other classes know most if not all of the children and genuinely care about them (also rare) , older students mentor the younger children, the level of parent involvement is very high... We moved out of the area into district with highly rated schools, even with that our son was a grade or two ahead of what was being taught. I would HIGHLY recommend Zion to anyone.

Zion has been a great blessing to our family. Great caring teachers who's commitment to students is second to none. Two of our boys have graduated from Zion and look forward to the great experience our third son will have. Our family strongly recommends this school.

My child attended school at Zion Lutheran Preschool and then school from 2002 until 2013. Our family loved the experience we had at Zion School and remain involved in small ways today. Zion prepared our child academically for high school, and life in general while providing a Christ-centered environment where she felt cared for and valued. The school encourages students to be leaders and to develop strong character, integrity, compassion and respect for others. Students are expected to live out their Christian values and the staff are wonderful role models to them.

Zion has been a part of my family for the last 13 years. The teachers make sure your child's academic success is their number 1 priority. The Christ-Centered environment is a plus. It helps with character building and provides a good social environment. The academic curriculum prepared my oldest child for a successful 4 years at Orange Lutheran. Like any school, Zion has a few processes that can be improved, but overall, I'm highly satisfied with their faith based education and academic curriculum

I attended Zion from 1987-1988 for my Jr. High years. I felt safe there at gained life long friends. Fast forward many years and now my kids go there. They started in Pre-school and currently are in grade school. I love everything about the school. The caring staff, small classes, activities, family activities and sports. If cost is a concern for you, you will be surprised that in the private school world Zion is considered very affordable. I encourage you to take a tour and meet the staff.

Zion is such a wonderful school to send your child. They have great facilities and a wonderful staff. My son just loves school. The teachers are hard working and care about my son. The Principal cares about all of the families. They have one to one technology in grades 5 through 8 and two computer labs. I just love Zion.

I do not agree with the last review about Zion. My daughter just loves the school and the principal. The teachers at Zion care about the students. They put in a lot of time to make sure my daughter is challenged. The principal cares about the families her at Zion. She is well respected and does a great job. I am so lucky that we are here at Zion.

I am proud to send my daughter to Zion. The teachers, Principal, and even the office staff are loving and caring. My daughter loves going to school and is doing really well there. It isn't as expensive as most private schools. It's required for each family to complete volunteer hours, and I dreaded it at first. It actually turned out to be fun. I got to know the staff, students and parents through volunteering and it allowed me to spend more time with my daughter.

I enrolled my child into kindergarten about 2 months before school started this year. About a month before school began, my family had to relocate and I notified Zion that my child would not be attending. The school refused to refund me the $450 registration fee. Zion incurred no expense or lost no money when I withdrew my child from the roster. I made several requests to the school principal who, in turn, approached the school board. My request was denied. That was unnecessary, absolutely inappropriate, and flat out greedy behavior on the school's part. I would never recommend a school with such heartless, cold leaders in charge.

If you are not a member of this Church or do not donate large amounts of money then you and you're child WILL be treated unfair. I highly recommed staying away and i fully support a lot of these comments stating this school cares more about money then the kids schooling...

The teachers knowledge is fair. The academic program is not very aggressive. The type of teaching tends to be very rote in nature. There is not an emphasis on the students extrapolating information and learning the reasons behind what they are learning. The amount of knowledge the students are expected to retain is minimal. The academics tend to be behind that of other better private schools. Teachers can be very partial to certain parents/family members. We have actually had bad experiences with some teachers being rude and disrespectful towards us as parents. There should be an emphasis on practicing the message they claim they are trying to send as a "Christian" school.

I have to say that I made a huge mistake by switching her to this school. They pretend that my 2 years old kid eat cold food because they are too lazy to warm up the kids' food. My questions to you, Do you eat cold food??? Then, the principal never talk to me about their closing dates and never gave me a calendar until I had paid. Obviously, It was too late to say NO. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE! FIND ANOTHER SCHOOL WHERE MONEY IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CHILDREN!

it is a loving, safe environment for our children to learn. The teachers and school staff are educators and there for the welfare of the kids.
