I'm not super fond of the public school system in general, however, NAE has truly exceeded my expectations. I love that it's a smaller school with reasonable class sizes. All of the teachers and support staff seem to know the kids by name, and truly care about their well-being. My son has an IEP, and he's grown immensely, both academically and socially during his time at North Albany Elementary School.

I had 2 boys go thru this school in a 9 year period and I can’t recommend it enough! Each of my boys teachers were excellent and I truly believe they were set up for success in middle and high school due to their beginning at NAES.

Both of my daughters attended here for their entire K-5 and loved this school, as did my husband and I. The teachers here work really hard and they really care about the kids. From what I've seen and heard from friends who have kids at other schools, North Albany really shines above the rest, with great teachers and admin but also with a lot of great kids! Well behaved kids, many with a mom at home, which I'm sure helps. Of course, that's my opinion, but I've spent a lot of time around them- volunteering in classes and attending functions and field trips to form this opinion. North Albany's demographics are likely a contributing factor to some of this.

A parent can bully their way in getting what they want even if it puts other children's lives at risk
