Acworth Elementary is an awesome school. The faculty and staff of Acworth are very devoted to the success of their students. The atmosphere is that of a family. The students are made to feel that they are special and cared for by all at the school. Acworth has adopted a schoolwide character program called the Warrior Way. The administration is very supportive.

My experience with Acworth Elementary has been great! The staff is very nice and welcoming, and the teachers are amazing! You arrive in the morning to drop off your child, and there are all of these teachers outside waving and saying good morning. They are always dancing and brightening everybody's day regardless of the weather. The kids are always excited to talk about their day, and tell us about how their teacher made them laugh or helped them understand something new. They love that they have so many different specials classes and can learn about anything from art to music to stem. The kids feel safe and look forward to school. The teachers work hard to help them grow academically while making their classes fun. There is good communication from the teachers, and the kids love going to school and feel safe. I am glad that I am part of the school and community.

As a parent and teacher, I would say Acworth is a great school. The teachers go above and beyond for ALL of the students, helping each one to learn and improve. My son's favorite thing is math, and he is fortunate that Acworth has a Math Lab in its Specials rotation and a Math Team he can join!

Acworth has made vast improvements as it pertains to the students and the community. It has recently become a STEM school, provided a parent resource room, established a garden through the support of AT&T, provided a food pantry to support the community especially during the pandemic. It has also implemented the Warrior Way. This is a program that has been in place that provides the children character development, information as to how to behave in the school, and the community.

Over the years, Acworth has changed drastically for the better. As a past parent and a current teacher, I have seen a vast improvement with the current leadership, innovative practices, and state-of-the-art programs offered. Acworth teachers provide ALL students with a consistent routine and rigorous curriculum. It is a school where students feel they are welcomed and safe. The school offers a math team that participates in monthly competitions and an end-of-the-year county-wide math competition that is sponsored by one of the amazing school partnerships, Cobb EMC. Acworth is a great place for students to expand their knowledge in all subjects, but especially build their mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Go Warriors!!!

Acworth elementary is a great school that provides rigorous academics, plenty of opportunities for students to grow in after school clubs and build friendships through school activities. Parents have the opportunity to invest in the classroom and their students to support their young warriors throughout their elementary school years. The staff are devoted to ensuring all students succeed. Acworth elementary is a great school for intermediate grades 2-5.

Acworth Elementary is a wonderful elementary school! The teachers are dedicated to helping all students achieve academic success while also helping to foster the love of learning in their students. I love the specials areas that students have access to at Acworth! We are STEM certified so there are specials in Technology, STEM and Math but we also have wonderful arts programs and teachers in Art and Music. We have a track, field and gym that make PE really fun for the kids on bad weather days or sunny days. As the media specialist at Acworth, I help to support all of these areas but also run a program that supports classroom learning AND reading for every student. It has been a great place to teach for 11 years!

Acworth Intermediate School is a fantastic elementary school! I have had many years involvement with Cobb County Schools both as a parent and as an employee. I can tell you first hand that Acworth Elementary ranks at the top of my list. I have never seen such a hard working staff. They are totally dedicated to each and every student in the school. The administration goes above and beyond to create a wonderful environment for both the staff and the students. The teachers, administrators, and staff value each and every student at this school and work hard each day to make sure that ALL students succeed. Great job Acworth Intermediate School!

The Acworth community is blessed to have such a wonderful school for 2nd-5th grades. The teachers welcome the students with open arms and go above and beyond to ensure all children achieve academically and enjoy learning. The teachers at Acworth are phenomenal! They go above and beyond for their students, family and the community. Acworth Elementary is an excellent school! I have had connections with numerous elementary schools through my own children's schooling as well as my work as a support staff member in different capacities. This school has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Communication between school and the community has been exceptional, especially during this pandemic year. The administrators are incredibly supportive and parents find them easy to reach. And the teachers work tirelessly to support ALL students' needs. Students feel safe and valued in this school.

Acworth Elementary is a great school not only for student's academic success but also for their social development. I have watched many students learn proper leadership skills at Acworth ES. The teachers love their students and go above and beyond to ensure student success, and the administration makes certain that students get all the support they need. Throughout the pandemic Acworth Elementary tried their best to stay connected with the community and families of their students. They were in constant contact with the families and at the end of the year they invited all the families to an awesome fifth grade parade.

Acworth Elementary has grown so much over the past 5 years. The staff and administrative team work tirelessly to ensure that all of the students needs are met. Acworth has many teachers who go above and beyond to make sure that students have the materials they need to be successful in the classroom. The school also has rose to the challenge of virtual and Face to Face learning, by creating fun and engaging lessons to meet all students needs and make sure each child has specifically what they need to succeed. Furthermore, Acworth has such a welcoming environment and has partnered with the community to create a family like atmosphere where their students, staff, and families feel welcome in the building and in turn will continue to thrive. The school has implemented a program called the "Warrior Way" to further create community as well as helping the students understand how to develop a positive Character and continue to grow as people and scholars.

I absolutely love Acworth Elementary. They have so many great things going on there! I love that they have a Cultural Diversity Committee that helps to build community in all cultures around the school. The front office staff is very welcoming and kind and so are the staff members. My child went there from second through fifth grades and absolutely loved it! The administration for the last 4 years has made great improvements in the look of the school as well as the academics. We love Ms. Nelson!

As a parent of a student who attended Acworth this school took my child from a below reading level to on grade level before heading to middle school. The teachers and staff go above an beyond to work with students and find how they learn. My child is succeeding in school because of Acworth.
