Stay away from this school There is only bullying going on , no academics take place !!!The principal is not professional, ignores parents , their calls, their emails and request and there is nothing is being done with the Ed code RUN

Great sense of community at this school. They have come back strong after having a lot of substitutes, children feel safe and supported.

Fantastic school. Has a Middle School Sports program! Wonderful teachers. Great curriculum and excellent rigor. Lot of opportunity for parents involvement. Would recommend for anyone.

Negative star here. Starting with the principal, then the teachers wait what teachers? The school is filled with 90% substitutes. Thanks a lot. It took one school to mess up our community.

El miércoles mi hija hiba enferma de la mano tiene una quemada y le dolía mucho y al día siguiente no pudo presentar su tarea por el dolor en la mano y cuando llegó a la escuela y la maestra les pidió la tarea le explico ala maestra por que motivo no la llevaba y en castigo la maestra la puso a escribir 100 beses que no pusiera escusas para no presentar la tarea y mi hija llegó toda rebelde a la casa desquitandose con migo su frustración y su enojo y con su hermano no me parece justo que esta maestra este haciendo esto con sus estudiantes porque ella también es madre y no le gustaría que le castigen a sus hijos sin razón o solo por que están enfermos eso se me hace ridículo y poco profesional de la maestra y de la escuela también

If I could give it negative stars I would. I put my son in a different school and think this school is a travesty to children with special needs primarily because it’s lead by a principal that is so abhorrent in her treatment of them.

I feel that this school and stuff filled two of my children in the way of providing them with a education worthy of America .this kulaks empathy and a lot of bullying going on

Amazing Staff, Great school. This school has one of the best programs for kids,Amazing teachers who work with the students thru there lunch and after school. Medal of Honor School, also School to watch. I would like to say thank you to the Teachers of High desert school you ALL are amazing.

When My daughter attended here there was a lot of bullying, she became very wary of school and didn't like going. Her expeience here was not so good. If I had had the resourses I would have sent her someplace else. The expereince she took from this school followed her thru out her school career. Maybe other people have had a differnt expeience here but that was our experience, and I did speak up about it at the time but it did little good. Hopfully they have changed their policy of tolerating this type of occurrence. Hopfully other students are having better expereince then my daughter did. -Former student's parent

I am rating this school unsatisfactory not because of the quality of academics but because of the lack quality of supervision. This is one of those school that ignore the children that are being teased and bullied. They went as far as to blame the victim of bullying that he was responsible for it because he did something his bully didn't like. He was hit several times and nothing was done. I would not recommend any of the schools in the Acton Agua Dulce District because of this.

Many of us came to this school from a neighboring district because of the unsatisfactory learning environment and lack of programs for high achieving kids. Personally, I have been extremely satisfied as my son who is now in 8th grade is doing wonderfully. I never hear about any bullying, drugs, or fighting. The principal has excellent control of the school. I believe any problems are handled swiftly and decisively. My son seems appropriately challenged in his work. I wish other middle schools would take note.
