Some things about this school is questionable. All the things that the teachers and aids do is favorite students and are very unfair . One time my kid got a scratched by one of the gates being broken . And one of the students stepped on a pin on school property! And there was a fight in front of an aid and she did absolutely nothing . While everyone else was not in line only he got in trouble along with his friends . This school is horrible for sensitive children. And some of the aids are nice but the ones in 4-6th are rude and disrespectful to the kids .

My son was in school 22 for 5 years. I believe this school could be better and have better rating, but they need the support from parents.Ms. Dildy was a great principal, but she needed to connect more with teachers and let them be “teachers”. They were scare of her. Hope the new principal has more empathy and connection with the staff.PTA is great! Tara you are doing a great job! Parents need to support the PTA.Teachers: School 22 has/had great teachers. Ms. Baker (RIP), Ms. Godson, Ms. Saitta, Ms. Bonilla And Ms. Weiss… YOU made a difference in my son’s life academically and emotionally- THANK YOU!!

My children enjoy school 22 the teachers and staff seem to genuinely care about all the children in the school. And it has an awesome and very involved PTA!! I recommend this school highly to all those new to Yonkers.

My son's teacher told me " Your son is in Public School , you are asking too much!....How do you think I will feel about this school?I was only asking her to explain the homework in the class and stop screaming in the class. TEACHERS need to learn how to manage kids without screaming and acting like a psycho!

How this school was rated a 3 is beyond me. My son has gone to this school for two years so far and I have never met a more dedicated staff. Teachers who really care, and go above an beyond the call of duty. Well kept, happy, colorful facility. Various programs, art, phys ed, music, fun Fridays, dances, community involvement, the list goes on and on. I would give it more than 5 stars if i could

We are very pleased with school 22. My daughter started Kindergarten last year and she absolutely loved it. Her Kindergarten teacher Mrs Bonilla goes beyond to help the kids. The PTA is very involved so is Mrs Dildy the school principal. Not sure why the old posts tells wrong statement about her. She is every morning greeting the kids and welcoming all the parents. Overall I highly recommend this school.

School 22 is the greatest. The teachers are almost always available. They do what they can to help the students.
