We came to Abrams after stints at BOTH Perelman Schools. I had been told that Abrams was too Orthodox for us, that their academics are less competitive, etc. Everything I thought I knew about Abrams was wrong. Abrams has outstanding teachers in both secular and Judaic studies. My son's teachers are deeply committed to his education and teach to him--they don't teach their lesson and then just hope the students absorb it. They are accessible both to him and to me. I also can't say enough about the school's leadership. The Rabbi is a man of vision who is committed to making the school the best in can be. This means both regularly evaluating what the school does well and looking for areas of improvement. He is also committed to making an Abrams education accessible to people regardless of their financial resources and goes above and beyond anything I've ever seen to make sure that students are not turned away for financial reasons. The school has many exciting new programs that place a priority on excellence in science and math. It is more than a school--it is a family, and we've been welcomed with open arms. I can't recommend the school highly enough!
