This is a terrible district for learning. While I can only speak for the High School, the entire district has terrible issues with communication across the board. The leadership is abysmal at best, and the toxic culture that has festered for years leaves teachers feeling defeated. Stay away if seeking employment. Parents in the community should be weary, and ask questions regularly regarding the well being of your students.

An absolutely abysmal school. Barely better than staying at home and teaching yourself how to do stuff. Weird kids, mean, and not inclusive. A small town with nothing to do. No good sports, and everybody knows everyone. Did not have a good experience and it did not set me up for a career or a bright future. Do not recommend

My school is an amazing school. The teachers are nice and help the students with nearly everything they need, and the resources are abundant.

The teachers don't explain things to the students properly. They send them home with a project to do and my sister wasn't sure how to do the project as the teacher didn't say to make sure to have key points on the project. They were told to just make a billboard and a label for a water bottle. No wonder these kids are stupid. The teacher's don't try to teach like they used to. They just give the kids an assignment and expect them to know how to do it.

Wright City has the best math teacher in the state in Rick Halteman. He has improved test scores greatly and he does his best to help students excel. He always comes in early before school or stays late after school to help his students. Also he is a great basketball coach and deserves to be head coach, but sadly he will not be the head coach this year.
