I have had several children go through Melrose, and I couldn’t recommend it more! Their engagement with the kids and families, their care for academic growth, and their professional resources are top notch. They go above and beyond for each child. Our family really enjoys Melrose!

Our child has had an amazing experience attending Melrose. The teachers and staff are all incredibly attentive and kind. From my observations the school is very inclusive and does a great deal to get parents and families involved. We're so happy to be a part of this community.

This shouldn’t even be a school. I’m wondering how there are no other bad reviews. I know these aren’t isolated incidents.

Best school ever! My child attended Melrose for only one year before going on to middle school. It was the best educational experience he had ever had although he has now attended 3 schools in the same district. It's a small school with a great PTO that really helps students directly. Recently, the PTO purchased boots and coats for students who needed them. They support staff and are active in the community. Melrose has the best intervention specialist my son has ever had. She worked tirelessly to figure him out and get him caught up academically from past educational deficits. She had high expectations. She took a kid who had been bullied and helped him make friends with non disabled peers. She celebrated his victories and taught him to learn from mistakes. She supported him into general education where he is now, 2 years later, on the merit roll and fully integrated. While this one person made a dramatic impact on my son's life, she was not the only one. From the principal to janitor, gen ed teachers and secretary-- these folks loved my son and helped him believe in himself. I recommend Melrose for all students!
